This was in the end of the game right? It'd be really sad if it was mid-game

Notice how the empty sections are the be$t $eats in the house. The seats behind the goal, on one side, and suites are empty. Now, consider the fact that the majority of NBA fans are 20-50 years old and make $25,000-$55,000 per year. Tell me which fans are the ones leaving, the rich fans who found a way to spend a Friday evening or the average fans who watch most Rockets games?

It's too bad. Houston is a big city and it has a lot of rich people who can afford to buy the best seats in the house and not even show up to the game.

They were $49 and they bumped them up to $69 after the Rockets won game 5. The total came out to a little over $150 for two tickets after convenience fees.

    Are you simple?

So you're saying that a broke Rockets fan living in Austin, who hasn't been able to watch a single game all year, has no right to be angry at those people who are fortunate enough to watch the team play in a playoff series, but choose to leave early?

It was the final game of the playoffs we were never expected to make, at least stick around and show them some appreciation.

Correct. You have no right to be angry at people who leave early. How they spend their money is none of your business, and them leaving early doesn't affect you at all.

Buying tickets is how fans show appreciation, and everyone at the game had a ticket.

I don't understand why so many people care that a lot of people left with 5 minutes left. They actually bought tickets and went to the game. Most all of you complaining did not go. No matter what reason you have for not going doesn't matter. You should not be complaining about people leaving early if you did not go.

Other than that I thought the crowd was really good. It died down in the 4th understandably so because we fell apart but the crowd was pretty damn good. This was probably the first Rockets game where I didn't really see any empty seats until the end of the game.

Same thing happened to me. I was in the nosebleeds (415 section) and I was standing for most of the game. After halftime, I decided to stay standing unless there was a timeout. A man behind me and his wife/gf kept tapping me telling me to sit down because they couldn't see. I told him that this was a basketball game and I was cheering my team and that he could do the same. He ended up getting me so heated that I cussed him out and payed no more attention to them. A guy next to me came to my defense while I was cussing the guy out and then they eventually left sometime in the 4th quarter.

I hate all these "fans" who go to games and get mad because someone wants to cheer their team on.
