Ok, just blame Lin. Don't blame the Hero Ball after McHale called the timed out. Basically most of Q4 were all Hero ball. And of course, no defense whatsoever, all Fisher knocked out his only three 3s in the just a few minutes.
There's a lot of blame to go around but if Lin played decent or well the Roxs probably would of had a better chance. The injury for sure had something to do with it. With Lin 0-4 With Lin 2-0 Lin net +/- 37.6 Spoiler
He needs to put his playoff stats on his wall and wake up to it every morning. That was painful to look at.
I hope so and come back next season to win the MIP award. He sounds like he's going to be dedicated this off season but who knows he always says the right things in interviews. I just hope he doesn't tour Asia to promote shampoo or whatever rather work on all his weaknesses. “I’m not even close,” he said. “I can talk about anything, and it would be something that I would want to be better, whether it’s defense, jump shots, making decisions, being quicker, being more explosive, being more consistent. I think I’m as motivated now as I’ve been my whole life.” http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/05/jeremy-lin-i-have-a-really-long-way-to-go/
if Rockets lost and Lin didn't play, but was healthy enough to do so, I wonder what people would have thought about him then. He played like ****, but at least he wanted to play. I would be more worried if he just said 'i don't want to mess up a good thing.'
I think he's obligated to go to Asia cause he has a couple sponsors he needs to appease. I don't mind him going there cause he's probably gonna be training while there too. I have no doubt he'll be better next year but to what extent? He was hindered by rehab this past summer but was still able to improve on a lot of facets of his game so I'm quite optimistic.
Honestly the second I saw this headline I knew the rockets would lose game 6. Lo and behold just that happened
Yea because its not like we won or anything when Brooks played instead of Lin right? Some of you fools are so ignorant I don't even know where to begin. I could pour ranch all over **** and give it to you as salad and you wouldn't know the difference at this point.
Lin killed the chemistry as did Delfino, but McHale put him out there, when he should have gone with Brooks in the 2nd half, and that is not on JLin it is on McHale. DD
The Lin, Anderson, Smith combo at the beginning of the 4th killed us. Without that 8 point swing in 2 minutes we could've one.
His first playoff game was not good at all. But the rest ... what can you say? How about Russell Westbrook? He certainly did not want to be out of the rest of the playoffs either. But that is out of his control.
If you think that's all, then exactly right.. you don't get it... so tell me how Lin contributed more and how the team played better with him on the floor...
I'll say it again, the LOF's are the one's who bring the over the top hate to Jeremy. If they weren't here, he'd be getting the Rafer Alston treatment that most have already alluded to. Nobody here dislikes Jeremy, they dislike his delusional fans.
I don't see any LOF making hate threads? A delusional LOF will probably make a thread and blame the loss on PB. His performance as a starter vs a bench starter of OKC is ugly. Would you like to hear that? This is a JLin bashing thread dude....don't act so blind.
We see it all the time. Blaming McHale, Harden, crapping on Beverley, ect...don't act like that doesn't happen. I don't know what threads you've been reading on here if you're oblivious to that. There is a lot of unfair Lin bashing on here (I pointed out that he deserved credit for trying to play for the injury initially) but any criticism leveled at Lin is normally met with "hater" or "racist". Don't act so blind, dude.
