Jeremy Lin is a large reason of why we lost this series

Why do you guys revel in the failure of one guy? He represent your city. He might not be the quickest, make bonehead pass sometimes, miss 3 pointers, and get blown past a lot of the time, but damn it he went out there and played his heart out every, single, game. Isn't that what you can asked for in a player?

How has Lin "failed" this year? The last I checked he started all 82 games to help get this team into the playoffs.

Both need to work on reducing TO's. Lin's TO are still slightly high I think. However, considering the fact that this team was assembled in August of last year, the TOs will fall once the players have the offseason to figure out each other's game (experience).

But yeah, Harden needs to be more productive on the ball early in the shot clock and not the last 5 seconds.

Just try hitting more than one shot would have been fine really. That's not even D-League good.

It's true, Jeremy Lin is a major reason why we did not win this series. But no, not because Bev is "better", but because he was not able to contribute up to even his own standards in this series. He got hurt in game 2, and was not the same ever since. If Lin had not gotten hurt I would place my life savings on the fact that this series would have been in favor of the Rockets.

A 82 game starter who is a major component of leading this young team to the playoffs should not be such a huge target for so much hate. It's pretty hilarious seeing all these posters claiming that Lin should be traded or benched for next season and on. Why? Because of a couple of games? What about the entire season of sample size? Someone please tell me how old Jeremy is again? There is this thing called improvement, and I certainly expect him to come back a stronger player next year.

There was no failure. Not by Lin.

This is the entire attempt by Lin Haters now, to try to cast the season -- or some part of it -- as a "failure" by Lin. It's a very simple game.

It doesn't matter. The Haters have lost. Lin is going nowhere, and barring Houston acquiring Chris Paul or Lin having an unforeseen injury, Lin will be the starter next year.

I don't think anyone revels in it, I certainly don't. I wish he'd played better so we could have won the series. However when you read nonsense from his fans all year long you just get tied of it. We didn't lose this series because of Lin but it would have been nice if he'd shown up. Relying on two free agent point guards who weren't even on the roster until like mid season is a hard pill to swallow when we signed this guy for $25 million.

Being at the game tonight, you could tell the crowd didnt want him there on the court. At one point they start chanting "we want brooks" "we wants brooks". It was frustrating to watch, and after he tossed the ball to no one out of bounds everyone started to lose hope. It wasn't all Lins fault this game, but he def didn't show up to play. He had 2 good plays or so. i wouldnt say it was a terrible performance, but now that the season is over a lot of people dont want him here anymore.

Never said you were...but i sense you're a closet LOH.
If I truly wanted to bash PB don't you think I would start a PB bashing thread? This thread doesn't seem to phase you...why is that? C'mon you know you are. Don't give me that **** because I'm a season ticket holder and I want whats best for the team. ;)

If I was living in houston I would definitely be a season ticket holder because I believe in this franchise now. I would be the happiest guy if JLin and Harden was playing for TO. I miss those days with Vince Carter...

You could ask the same as Beverley who wasn't injured- just make more than zero assist a game. That's not even playground good for a starting PG.

You have to declare a DNP prior to the game. You NEVER put a player you might need on DNP even if you intend to play them ZERO minutes. DMo is on the starting roster and on the bench even when they intend to NOT play him in case of injury to a starter.

Lin didn't suit up for games 3 and 4 (game time decision).

No coach in their right mind would not suit up Lin if he could play just in case Beverley or Brooks end up injured.

    Keep spinning those wheels.

    $25 million reason why.

LOFs comparing Lin to Beverly is a desperate move. I mean at least we can waive Beverly if he sucks.

As a Rockets fan, we should not have threads like this. This is not the way we celebrate and pay homage to a successful season. This is just sad fellas.

Doesn't matter. Just like whoever said Twitter didn't want Lin to play.

Lin isn't going anywhere, and he will start next year.

So, whoever was at the game and was hating on our starting point guard, time to start working on letting it go.

yeah I agree with you , but some people just LOVE to blame one person for playoff losses. Jeremy contributed all season and we had a winning season for a young team in their first year , when no one expected us to even be in the playoffs and yet we won two games and could've won more if games 2 and 3 were better executed on the defensive end and some offensive mistakes that we can improve for next season. Seriously can't we all just be patient and appreciate how hard the team has worked this year?
