torocan, don't bother. Anyone who starts or participates in these threads at this point is either consciously trolling or too obtuse to know any better.

Yao Fans, the original bunch, we understand why. National pride.

Tracy Fans, we understand his talent and the need for an anti-Kobe for jealous fans.

Lin Fans, we understand why also, feel good story.

However you are right. The first two are legit NBA superstars based on years of consistency and obvious talent.

Horrible thread. Beverley played just as bad tonight, if not worse, and you're calling Lin out?

I am so tired of late '12 and '13 posters grasping at straws to defend Lin's play and then lashing out at anyone who even remotely criticizes him. It's easy to say "stop blaming join dates" but man... when 95% of the apologists are '12/'13ers, it's tough not to get frustrated.

What is the point of defending his play and blaming Harden and McHale? If he was what you want him to be, he would get the minutes and the plays run for him. I just don't understand the blind fandom.

I was at the game, and every time he came in it destroyed our flow. I wanted him to succeed so bad as a Rockets fan but my grace period is over... he just isn't that good. That said, he's not the reason we lost this series. OKC is a good team for a reason.

another thread blaming Lin? seriously just make a subforum titled "Hating Jeremy Lin" and move all the threads over there. he's not the reason we lost!! sure he shouldn't have played tonight and when he did he played bad but the reason we lost was because: they hit their open 3s, WIDE OPEN; we shot too many 3s ourselves when we didn't need to (while we were up) instead we couldve drove in or took a better shot; and we missed carlos defino

lol quick guys post more links that prove lin is more explosive and faster than westbrook.. lol all this number crunching is the same bs that sports science uses to say jenny finch is the toughest pitcher to hit..

russell westbrook has elite speed, you post these results from an iphone and want to believe lin would beat westbrook in a foot race, let alone while dribbling a basketball...

Lin has added nothing special worth mentioning in this series. So you don't say we win or we lose because of him, its bigger than one player

The fact that Lin got hurt didn't help, but Lin personally isn't a big reason we lost.

Patrick Beverley is your starter and now you're shifting blame on Lin. *NICE*
Why don't you guys man up and do PG to PG comparison like the way you been doing that with Lin? Afraid of the result for the last 2 games? RJ looks like an elite PG thanks to PB as your so called starter.

I blame tonight's lose on the FT, missing around 10 Ft in a big game like this is huge, also that 10 point lead that we blew so quickly at the end of 3rd qt

What are you trying to accomplish by tearing Beverley down to somehow prop Lin up? I just don't understand it. Not a single post you've made has been reasonable, it's just blind Lin support. Why are you so desperately trying to convince people that he's so great?

Did you not read the bash thread? What I said is totally fair. This thread is unreasonable.

Jeremy DID NOT LOSE US THE GAME. Mchale did keep him in a bit longer then he should've but I was at the game and Patrick although plays good defense and hustles , he missed alot of layups and open threes , I knew he confident and wanted to shoot but there were some shots he could've passed out to an open shooter instead of trying to shoot a layup. He was short on many shots inside the paint today. I felt like Aaron Brooks could've lead the team better tonight than Patrick. Anyways its our first season as a young team, and we still had a winning season and won two games in the playoffs. Most of those games its because of our backcourt of Jeremy and James. So of you are just so damn ignorant to appreciate that.

I mean every single post I've ever seen from you. It's just wild hate for Beverley (who was great this series) and Harden and McHale and generally every Rocket not named Lin. What are you trying to accomplish? Honestly.

I would take your opinion more seriously if you had brought up the fact that Harden caused some costly turnovers and couldn't even defend freaking Fisher. But as usual, Lin is only brought up when there is a loss. Oh, how about Kevin Martin? He was able to finally make his shots go in tonight. There were many factors on why the Rockets lost. Even Beverly didn't play that well. He was missing shots. It's crazy how people refuse to see how the other players were doing, but just zoom in on Lin all the freaking time.
