I do not know if any of you watched this game, but I watched the last 21 seconds. It was very entertaining and included a "bone-head" decision that I am declaring is an instant classic -- the decision, not the game. Seeing Pasco take a "victory stroll" with the ball in one hand and holding up his other hand in triumph with time still on the clock only to get called for travelling and allow Colorado the chance to win was just amazing. If he covered up, he would have been fouled and would have shot free throws with a two point lead and a couple of seconds left. If he dribbles, he might could dribble out the clock. When you step back and look at, Colorado, should not even had a chance. When you look at it again and realize that Colorado had 3.3 seconds left and had to inbound from under their own hoop trailing by 2 with no timeouts and then got the shot they got, it is just amazing. Here is the ESPN link to the story. It is a pretty good description of the last 21 seconds. http://espn.go.com/ncb/news/2003/0313/1523305.html
Yeah, i was laughing my ass off. As soon as he caught the ball and started walking with it, celebrating, i kinda went HUH?!?! Isn't that a walk? You just KNEW that Colorado would hit that next shot, then....Funny stuff. May not be a big deal overall, but we'll see how Colorado plays vs OU today.
