I can't remember, maybe it was larsv8 saying that.... Get LAL and LAC on the phone one team gets a S&T package of Asik+Lin+Robinson for their player (threatening to leave) and the other team gets nothing. So, Rockets would use the salary slot of Asik+Lin+Robinson for one player and their current cap monies for the other. And the Rockets have cheap role players in Parsons, Beverley, Terrence Jones, DMo, James Anderson on the books. Then look for some vets to fill some holes via cheap contracts. They are out there, guys like Stephen Jackson etc. Just look at how Miami added those types of guys.
Brand new ESPN column from Jemele Hill. Spot on. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9231725/dwight-howard-sign-houston-rockets
He's going to stay in LA and spend the rest of his days swimming in endorsement money, appearing in terrible movies, partying with celebs, and playing .500 basketball.
Hayes/Malone/Sampson/Olajuwon/Ming Not like we don't have a great history of big men, similar to the Lakers. Just weird to me that she brings up the Lakers history of great big men, but not the Rockets. I suppose it is the fan in me.
First off, anyone who thinks/picks the nets is clueless. Both teams r over the cap, unless he signs for the veteran minimum (lol?wtfcopter...) he can't play there. 2nd, he will resign with the lakers, because 2nd fiddle doesn't work for him. 3rd, anyone who chose the nets is clueless......
Dwight will be a Rocket no way he turns down Harden/Parsons and possibly his buddy Jsmoove if we trade Asik.
Do you disagree with anything she said? I don't see how being a Lakers hater has anything to do with assessing Dwight's future.
She states that he should go to Houston so that he wouldn't be compared to great players. Uhhh Hakeem? I like how she chose to ignore that. This is why no one takes her seriously.
As much as I like Asik and Lin if we could do these moves and get Howard and Paul....I would do it in a nanosecond!!! ....... ....... .......
