I wouldn't go salviating over how "tough" the suns schedule is because just looking at the stats, they're actually doing better against the top teams in BOTH conferences than the bottom ones. They have an 8-4 record against the top four teams in the west with a 4-2 record vs. the east. That's where that when you look at it, this game is certainly bigger for the Rockets than the suns. In fact the way both teams have been playing, the one with the easier schedule (Phoenix) might actually lose out since we both play the top teams better.
I dunno...last night's game against the Kings was a fluke..cause Sac just plain sucked. But I think it'll just come down to who wants it more, plain and simple.
Point is though is that the Suns are either tieing or leading in the season series (they've dominated SA & POR) against ALL the top 4 teams in the west. The suns had played those teams well than any other playoff team in the west. Would you call our 2 wins against the Kings flukes?? Take out Dallas though, and we have an above .500 record against the playoff teams in the west. Hoping for that seventh spot.
well...I'll give credit to the Suns for coming out with a lot more intensity than in their previous game. But the Kings...they just looked pathetic. In fact, it was their worse loss of the season. So, while you can credit the Suns a little bit...I'd say the Kings were probably their own worst enemy last night. But in any case..I stand by my statement...regardless of how many wins you've gotten against which teams, whether your at home or on the road...these last 20 or so games are gonna be decided by who wants that playoff spot more. And the way its looking right now...we're not just competing with Phoenix anymore..but LA and Utah as well.
hey listen guys suppose if we lose to phoenix tom.(which we won't) and at the end of the regular season we both have the same record then how would we kno tht if rox make it or suns. Rockets forever!
