    this is the one i did on the nike uniform thingy...it resembles the UH uniform, but I'd like to see the Rockets go with a more simple look (ala Detroit) like this

    Let's get one thing straight:

    Blue is NOT a Rockets' color. I don't know how we ever ended up with blue in our color scheme, but it does NOT belong. Red, gold, and/or white. Those are your ONLY options. Thanks.

    Can you imagine if the Celtics just decided one day to add, I don't know, RED, to their colors? Or how 'bout if the Yankees decided to throw some orange in there? I think you get the idea.

    Keep the designs coming, Miguel. They're rough around the edges but not too bad! Francisfan, as per usual, your concepts are head and shoulders above others! Why you're not designing the new Uni's, I'll never know. :cool:

    Well, when you only spend about 15 minutes on it, changing your mind every 10 seconds...it's not gonna be too great.


    I just took a Marbury jersey (I like the style of the suns jerseys), and swapped some colors in and out, etc. Some of those marks and all were cause I used the smudge tool, but it didn't work out too well. Oh well, I have one that might be a bit different, but it could work for an alternate away jersey. :)


    Edit: Yeah, Francis fan's designs are my faves of the ones I've seen on the boards. That Red one francis is in...:eek:

    This is a really crude design I thought up today while at work. Despite the fact that a lot of people hate the Yellow/Red I think its cool because its "throwback"
    and its a unique color scheme.
    Detroit went to their classic colors.

    I threw in the yellow bar with the "stripe" going down one side because I thought it would be unique. It is something new without being too "out there." Its kind of like the sonics uni except its not an arch.

    Another uniform I like is Clevelands white unis. Those look real clean. I also think that the road unis should say houston and the away ones should say rockets.

    Let me know if you guys think its worth my time to fix this one up and modify it. If you guys like it I might even just sketch it and color it by hand.[​IMG]
