Most athletes when they age become endearing to the masses who rejected them as younger studs. The Mailman does not evoke such a positive reaction. I hate Stockton, but still respect the hell out of of game. Malone? I wish he'd just quietly go away (which he probably won't do this decade!).

I hate his running into people creating contact then falling. I remember a few instinces in which 6'2 Matt Maloney caused him to mysteriously go FLYING! He's a clown...a joke. Thats not the way the game is to be played. I remember on a flop, Hakeem looked down and told him to be a man and get up off of the floor!!
i was at the game, that young rookie ref was scared of karl malone, figures...still dont see why we didnt call timeout, where in trouble if we dont beat charlotte...
