There was a time when people considered homosexuality as a disorder and criminal perversion. Shock therapy, castration, and toxic chemicals were considered remedies to ail the demon spirits. There may be "conclusive evidences" from "multiple sources", but I'm satisfied that it was dropped from the DSM which was based of its own conclusive evidences and has been the cornerstone of #progress.

lots of people ignore their urges to sleep with people of the same sex. yes, because if a homosexual doesn;t have homosexual sex they will die...... good grief. Some may think this is ignorant, but I don't think he and all other gay players should be allowed to shower with the rest of the players. IF you say he should still be allowed, then do you also agree that men and women should be allowed to shower together as well? It would be uncomfortable for women to share a shower room with men, and similarly, men are going to feel uncomfortable sharing a shower room with Jason Collins.
It would also be uncomfortable for many straight men to shower with random women for a long list of reasons, the least of which being America's obesity problem. But, you know, go ahead and assume all dudes want to share showers. It's not like you're projecting or anything.
i disagree and say that the average man has this mentality. when did i say that? i'm just saying there are a few different reasons why men/women aren't allowed to share shower, one of the reasons being attraction to one another. i don't know about you, but if i had a gay teammate on my team sharing the showers with me, i wouldn't feel comfortable at all.
Pretty sure the evidence is more conclusive that race is not a choice than there is regarding homesexuality and it being a choice, but maybe i'm wrong.

As a straight man I find other men to be repulsive and I can't even think about having sex with them with out feeling sick. Me sleeping with women is not a choice but something I have to do. I imagine that's how homosexuals feel about women.

Sure, homosexuality was not permitted for Jews but it is permitted for Christians now because it is not in the new testament..... Mammalian animals do not often murder their kin. There is a difference between murder and predation, unless you want to make the ham-handed argument that humans often kill for sustenance. Eating your s**t is unsanitary, and unhealthy no matter how you cut it. With that said, should there be discrimination against s**t-eaters? The end result of murder is a dead person, and the end result of protected gay sex is hopefully two orgasms (or hell, maybe more), if I have to spell out the differences between the two then maybe you're just having the wrong type of sex. The argument of animals having homosexual relations shows that there is a biological basis for homosexuality, and that animals and humans are inclined towards such actions. Insofar as to your definition of what is right or wrong is based on Abrahamic repression, one could argue that religious edicts are "unnatural" in the purest sense of the word.
