It would be so awesome if Stephen Jackson came out as gay... or Tony Allen.

    Your self loathing is palpable.

Probably should find a boyfriend, help you relax.

Don't be a hypocritical atheist who is tired of Christians "pushing their beliefs" and then say something like this. Not cool, man.

Here is Chris Broussard's official statement:

"Personally, I don't believe that you can live an openly homosexual lifestyle or an openly premarital sex between heterosexuals, if you're openly living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits, it says that's a sin. If you're openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, adultery, fornication, premarital sex between heterosexuals, whatever it may be, I believe that's walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. I would not characterize that person as a Christian because I do not think the Bible would characterize them as a Christian."

Since Broussard said something negative about a homosexual, he is a homophobe. Get real.

I believe black people are lesser and should not be considered as an ethnicity anyone wants to be.

But I am not a racist though.

I think less of people who speed in parking lots or school zones. Do I hate them?

race is not a choice. Homosexuality is. You can disagree with a choice and not hate the person.

There are conclusive evidences that homosexuality is a choice? I didn't know that.

I could swear there are thousands of animals documented in engaging in homosexual behavior, and that genetic factors have been implicated in tons of studies regarding homosexuality.

It is good for him and #progress. African Americans and sports in general carry one of the most over-masculine masks around. There was already talk about Mante T'eo being gay and how that whole mess would affect his future.

A lots changed in the past 20 years. Frankly, I was dreading reading this thread, but it's been mostly civil while it was in the GARM which is pretty damn cool. Now that it's in the ****pile forum, you see the thread trending downward...

Maybe in another 20, I'd be just as pissed as you for the same reaction should things improve even more. Maybe then it really won't be an issue, but it still is for now. You better believe it.

    bro read more carefully

I'm not pissed he came out -- I'm pissed at all the do gooders who are trying to get all this personal credit by blasting it all over facebook and twitter

If he wants to pork another man's butt, I don't care -- IT'S WILD AND DON'T MAKE NO CHILD

I read it just fine dude. For every one do-gooder here, there's a lot more negative voices outside the net making it up. So I don't think the do-gooders are aimed at you or it's about you at all.

Obviously hasn't hit my filter, but like I said, I hope in 20 it really won't be a big deal and people treating it as one then need to see the world more.

For now, I think they're justified.

Following the news Monday that NBA veteran forward Jason Collins is gay, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace tweeted out some insensitive remarks about homosexuality, though he deleted the tweet not long after and issued an apology. The Dolphins responded later with a statement on the matter, noting that they plan to address the team so that an incident like this does not happen in the future.

"Mike Wallace has apologized for his comments, and we have addressed the matter with him. Mike's comments do not reflect the views of the Miami Dolphins. We believe in a culture of inclusiveness and respect, and any statements to the contrary are in no way acceptable to our organization. We will address the entire team about our policy of inclusion and make sure they all understand the importance of respecting individual choices."

Wallace's tweet read in part, "All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH…" -- but Collins' peers also voiced plenty of support on Twitter after the news broke. The likes of Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and Baron Davis all offered encouraging words to Collins, as did NBA commissioner David Stern and Washington Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld.

yes. you can choose whether you have butt sex or not (unless you are in prison). Thousands of scientists did research for years to figure this out.

Disagreeing with someone's choice to have gay sex does not mean you hate them. Get over yourself

thousands of animals choose to have gay sex? whats your point?
