For a while now the Rockets haven't been able to close out games. Not just this season but for quite a few years. No matter who the coach or the players too and it's annoying that they lose close games. Seriously in Games 2 and 3 we could have easily one both and almost on our way to the second round. I guess it's just another thing this team needs to improve and if they do, we could easily be a 4 or 5 seed because almost all the games we lose are close. Happy we won this game. Upset that we could've had a better series than the record shows now. Carry on with your day now.
Each time we have a close game, we went full ISO mode. This time we had an 8 point margin and still almost lost.
Yeah but it has a always been like this for the last 6-7 years. Even with t-mac and yahoo we still couldn't close out close games very well. And its gotten worse and worse recently. I remember one game against the Mavs where we were up by 18 midway through the 3rd and lost the game by 17 points. That was '10. And it really is frustrating to see so many close games go by.
What could have been...but we showed in the Regular season that we can give Thunder an ass whopping if we really wanted
Frankly, that's one of the big differences between teams like us and OKC. Closing out quarters. Closing out games. None of this "almost won" stuff. I am proud of this Rockets' team.
We could also be tied 2-2... Oh, I thought we were stating obvious situations that possibly could have occurred...
We could also be out 0-4 Or, be up 3-1... Actually, we played well the last two games, we could be 2-2!
I dunno about that. It took everyone playing out of their minds to win that game and even then, it was close.
A million dollar question: What is the difference between the OKC team in the first two games and the OKC team in the last two games?
