ClutchFans Game Thread: Thunder @ Rockets 4/27/2013 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

They're already doing that in the Lin injury thread. Missed FT's, TO's and KD's fluke 3 didn't help either.

 

Lin needs to sit out until he is actually ready

 

he can probably be resigned for much cheaper..

 

Pretty sure I saw 2 by Durant on the replays alone...could be wrong though.And let me tell you something, Asik can't guard ANYTHING. Tell me who he did stop coming in for a shot.And yeah, he can get a rebound if it's pretty much uncontested otherwise it pretty much ain't happening. Hell, pretty much everyone scores over him.

 

30 points on 22 shots is decent. He did mess up really bad. He missed a lot of free throws and made two boneheaded plays where he passed the ball to a teammate that he thought was there, but wasn't. He made some huge shots though, and I didn't notice a lot of ISO in the last 6 minutes.

All I noticed were missed wide open 3's, and dumb turnovers. A couple from Harden, one from Parsons where he straight up passed the ball to the other team since he inexplicably tried to feed Asik rolling to the hoop when Asik was surrounded by 3 guys. One from Garcia where we had the freaking lead and he wants to try to feed a cutting Delfino with 2 guys covering him.. hitting the damn rim it was such a horrible pass.

Parsons and Beverly not moving the ball and jacking shots when we had an opportunity to take the lead. We had many opportunities this game and while Harden ****ed up big time, so did the rest of the team. Delfino and Garcia hit two big shots. But other than that, horrible execution from EVEYONE in the 4th.

 

We're actually 2-7 in our last 9 including this series. Not that that's much better, but it's at least not quite as dreadful as 2-9.

but seriously this is why i aint even mad. Rockets playing one of the best teams in the playoffs and pretty much holding their own. OKC is essentially set. Rockets need 2 more pieces... oh and dont forget they still suckling on the teat!

 

Oh so you COMPLETELY missed those 4 blocks he made?

I agree OKC was trying to hand Rockets the game, but Rockets didn't want to take it either. Some bonehead plays and bad passes. I hope Lin doesn't play the 4th game unless his injury improves to a level where he can help the team. If not, he shouldn't play.

 

Asik was excellent again in the second half...Those Dunks were not going to be contested...Asik isnt Dwight Howard...Asik did his job..stop ripping on Asik...

 

Team made some dumbass turnovers and missed free throws at the end,plus that lucky bounce three......game over. Now its about learning experience. Next game Rox needs blow em out and i will feel better

 

People cant really complain about harden, if it wasnt for him we wouldnt have came back

 

Yea he got some questionable calls, but give me a break this guy is the 2nd best player on the planet. Even without Westbrook, the Thunder very well may make the finals.

i hate that, isnt it technically forcing contact. harden isnt getting calls "forcing contact" under the basket, that arm sweep bs shouldnt be a foul..

 

Sure would have been nice Harden hit both of those FT's that he missed down the stretch.


Not to knock Harden's performance though. I thought that Harden played really well

 

And Serge Ibaka has been fantastic this series.
