as much as some hate Mchale system and decisions, he has out-coached Brooks IMO.

 

Delusional fans, D Howard is not coming.

 

Yeah I'm amazed no one is saying this. Brooks is NOT a great coach. No reason for ANY team to blow a 25+ point lead like that. You know the other team is going to make a run, but that was bad, BAD coaching by Brooks.

Only reason he looks good is Durant -- who bailed him out once again.

Can't hate KD...best player on the court today.

 

Ive already said this..Brooks isnt a good coach...Mchale has made huge gambles, but atleast he has tried...Brooks doesnt care if the other team changes their philosophy...he wont...and it will cost them in the next series...

This team loves to dig a hole, climb almost to the top then fall all the way down to its death. Sometimes I wish they either play right from the start or just bury themselves to hell. This tease, or fools gold sht gets annoying quite honestly.

 

This team has choked in every single clutch moment. Have we ever hit clutch shots to win a game? The only clutch shots that have won us the game were free throws, Harden free throws to be precise.

Not sure if inexperience or just plain bad coaching

30pts on 22 shots and 10-15 FTs. and LOTS of fail in the final 5 minutes. I love the guy, but he messed up really really bad. If he had made those 2 FTs instead of missing them, 2-pt lead 2 minutes earlier. I found it truly deflating, and I'm sure the crowd and team did too. It was good taking the lead later on, but he missed those 2, more earlier, turned it over what....3 times in the last 90 seconds? bad bad bad. and how many seconds did he waste ISO'ing in the final 6min? It was ridiculous, no one here is being irrational about it. He wasted time, missed big shots, and made really bad plays. Other teammates DID NOT late in the game. Yes, there's blame to go around, especially in the first quarter. He is the leader though, and he is responsible for his mistakes, especially in the end of a close game where we're...oh, down 1, tied, up 2, etc.

 

Man, what a killer. Still think losing to Phoenix when we had a chance at 6 seed doesn't matter. I'm not into moral victories. We are 2-9 in our last 11...including the playoffs of course. Took an incredibly dumb play by Phoenix for us not to be 1-10....think about that for a minute.

 

man that durant 3...and that ibaka reverse...if those shots are going in what can you do? completely erases that huge garcia game and delifno finding his stroke

 

In all seriousness if we win the next two games, which is still possible in my opinion, things can get very interesting.

 

Would have been nice to get a W in this series...but did anyone expect them to get out of the 1st round anyway?

I think the future is super bright for this team.....

When the refs started calling the game fairly the Rockets showed they are 20+ better than the Russel-less Thunder! #homershades

 

not all bad. They now see what it takes. And they are learning from a very disciplined team that knows how to win. Not disrespecting the rest of this series, but win or lose, I really look forward to the promise of next year.

Maybe that's for the best. We'd have to decline the option on Garcia's contract to have any chance of landing Howard. Anyone else feel like letting that guy go after tonight?
