Looking ahead to the next five games, it seems that the Rockets have it much easier and Golden State seems to have it the worst.

Houston's Schedule Seems Easier (that may be bad though!)

    Chicago
    Phoenix
    Seattle
    Portland
    Golden State

    Phoenix's Schedule:

    Sacramento
    Houston
    Toronto
    Utah
    Washington

    Golden State's Schedule:

    Dallas
    Seattle
    Sacramento
    Seattle
    Houston

This next five game stretch for these three teams will tell the story of who goes to the playoffs or not. I think after this five game stretch the Warriors will be finished. Dallas and Sacramento are fighting for the first spot hard because neither wishes to play the Lakers in the first round and they are currently and will probably finish 6th or 7th.

Our Games against Phoenix and GS are twice as important and I think we will take care of business there. We have done well against those teams lately.

Portland is the only tough team in this stretch, but they've been falterin lately and we actually do pretty well against the Trail Blazers. Francis and Mobley especially light it up against them and Yao did well against Sabonis and Davis last time.

If we don't do well in this stretch we may be finished with the following games against:

    Sacramento
    Clippers'
    Lakers
    Spurs
    Denver
    New Jersey

The Sacramento/Lakers/Spurs games will be tough and the Clippers and Nets are pissed about our last victories against them.

Phoenix then proceeds to play these teams to finish the season:

    Dallas
    Seattle
    Memphis
    Detroit
    Indiana

Their final stretch looks a little easier but overall about the same. I'm crossing my fingers that we can pull it off.

If we do make it though....who would we want in the first round of the Playoffs??

It would be between Dallas/Sacramento/San Antonio

Dallas steamrolled us this year, but I still think we have a decent chance against them, but I would pick the spurs, especially with David Robinson's back acting up again.

It is still too earlier to think about that.

The thing I'm scared about is that our last game of the year is against the Denver Nuggets. I can just see it now, we stay in the race all the way up until the last game of the season and then do as we have all season and lose to a team we are suppose to beat.

Hopefully we'll already have a playoff spot locked up by then.
