I was the one calling sweep before the injury but HOLY CRAP this is BIG. Our defense sucks in terms of containing him and all the other thunder players were benifiting off of his penetration. THis changes our ENTIRE defensive strategy and we can legitimately win this . WOW.

I don't see why not, we still don't know what reaction OKC will have to this injury and what reaction this will have on our Rockets facing them...... Losing an important piece can change a lot of things within a system, look at Patterson for the Rockets who was not even close to being as valuable to the Rockets as Westbrook to OKC...... OKC is still a stronger team than Houston but this turn of events can have a very negative impact for them. If the Rockets win the next two I believe it can go either way. We should all know that Houston is capable of getting hot and taking two games from them, after that lets see what happens....

I would've liked our chances if we had stolen Game 2. But anything is possible. Hopefully we can ATLEAST win these next 2 home games. That will make things really interesting.

What will happen in this series depends on which Rockets team shows up over the next X games.

The team that played in game 1

    or

The team that played in game 2

A steady diet of game 2 Rockets I think actually has a chance. But even one more game of game 1 Rockets would be our doom.

Yeah but he won't be as efficient when he's forced to take shots he wouldn't normally take. He doesn't have Westbrook and Harden out there anymore.

Durant would say it himself, although he'd probably find a way to relate it to apples.

You're asking if we have a chance to beat the best team in the conference 4 times in 5 games just because they're missing their second best guy? Get real.

It's still going to be hard work just to win a game.

Thunders are probably gonna play really physical out there... Hope that the refs will see that and blow the freaking whistles!

Agreed.. Durant will probably score ridiculous points some night (wouldn't be surprised to see some multiple 50 pt games)... but in the 4th where he could normally get Westbrook/Harden, he won't have that.

It's really too bad we couldn't steal game 2. Would have had a chance to make it a series. I think the next two games are just gonna be too much pressure for our inexperience.

JVG on sportscenter just said Rox can win this series now and should change their mindset to no just "get back in the series" to "winning this series".

JVG is a major Rockets supporter. He also thought we would beat the Spurs in a series, straight-up.

Flip Saunders on ESPN said last night we have no chance... Just now on ESPN he hanged his mind and thinks the series will go 7!

He should concentrate on breaking 50% shooting first, which he hasn't done a single time in seven career outings against Chandler Parsons.

Durant will not score 60 pts... He should and will be doubled every time he gets the ball.

If we can snatch the next game, maybe a little chance to make it a series but otherwise we can't.
