I've been seeing them, it didn't take them long at all to hone in on that vacant snack niche. I don't think Hostess appreciated sara lee moving in so fast.

Zingers are the only one of those snacks I like, I avoid them because I know those things are just horrible for you.
I used to have a pretty bad zinger problem, in jr. high. None of these snack cakes do much for me anymore though. I guess I just can't get away from comparing them to some real cake. Even boxed cake mix, much less some of those heavy, made from scratch recipes with real coarse texture, caramel icings etc. /apples and oranges.
the orange cupcakes do look interesting though. Seems like I had them before. Why do you say the filling is twinkie filling, and not their traditional cupcake filling (or is there a difference)? Speaking of, they're not coming back out with their normal chocolate cupcakes too, just like those orange ones but chocolate? I think those were my favorites, over twinkies, zingers, dingdongs, the little debbie line (nutty bars, starcrunch, oatmeal c.p.'s).
