With all this talk about Jason Kidd coming to S.A. How about sending Tony Parker to Houston for Moochie (back up PG) and Mo Taylor (since they need another big man)??? This way we can send Steve Francis to the SG position and Mobley can come in for him. That would be sweet.
i thought this topic has already been covered... parker is not a true passing pg.. he's more of a scoring pg who needs the ball in his hands to be effective... just like SF... so there's no point picking him up... i think rockets should go for gary payton
That trade would be great! At least TP will dish out the ball more than the Franchise. But who will back up Parker? Tito Maddox?
That trade would not work out for San Antonio. Anyway why would they take up Taylor and Moochies contracts if they are going to try and sign Kidd?
Why don't we get them to thrown in Tim Duncan so it is 2 players for 2. I think Kidd and Parker will be their back-court combo next year if they sign Kidd. They would only move Parker if that wasn't working out--and they get more than deadweight contract players like Mo & Mooch for him. Maybe Mobley+ would be of interest--if I were SA that would be of far more interest, especially if Manu does't steadily progress as an outside shooter.
I think it's more likely you'll see Kidd involved in a sign & trade deal instead of a free agent signing. I wouldn't be at all shocked to see Tony Parker involved in said sign & trade deal, if such a deal occurred.

I don't think Kidd will force a s & t. It is either a strait signing by the Spurs or someone else, or he stays with the Nets. The sign and trade I think only boosts Kidd's max contract to like 6/95mil$ instead of 6/90mil$--I don't think he would weaken his next team by demanding that extra 5 mil $.
