i hope many agree in saying this is prob the most impt game of the year. im hoping that the rockets can make a statement and really give it to PHX especially starbury and stoudamire,,if anyone went to the last game you know why,,,,but worst case scenerio what do you think will happen to the team if they lost that one game? will that motivate them to win the rest or slide down and end up 10th in the west? also reminds me that the 2 GSW games are also of high importance if they keep it up
i really hope they will back their mouths up this time and play like they can beat these next to teams,,,hope they play to win/destroy
I'm realy not thinking that much about the SUNS right now. I'm thinking about the Rockets trying to beat the Clippers and Bulls, teams that have gave the Rockets trouble. Hopefully we can beat the Suns as well. If Rockets win, we get to the playoffs. If Rockets lose, we still get to the playoffs.
I think passing and beating the Suns will break their will. It should be downhill ride from there. G.S. on the other hand has found a second wind. That's dangerous.
what would have happened if Mobley didn't brick those two free throws against the Suns the first time we played them? We'd have already won the season series!!
It doesn't matter if we beat Phoenix, because we're getting trounced on that five game road trip coming up...
With an optimistic viewpoint like that I'm am very suprised that you keep runnin around with those scissors.
Actually, A-Train, you are right and wrong this time. We will indeed get trounced on that five game road trip. I project we will go 2-3, with only wins at GS and the Clippers. After that five game, we will then get beat by LA and SA in consective games on national TV. That's 2-5 in 7 games. However, don't panic just yet. From that point to the rest of the season, we can go 7-3 in those 10 games with only losses at Utah, Phily and Jersey. Meanwhile, the Suns will likely to go something like 3-8 in last 11 games, with only 2 wins against Denver and 1 win hosting GS. That will completely kill the Suns. I agree that our schedule isn't nice after these three home games. However, during the last 10 games stretch, the schedule will easily allow us to put the nails on the cofin for the Suns of Biotches. In fact, these three games coming are the most crucial ones in our push for the playoffs, in my opinion.
