Didn't know that the thread I started after being furious with the Lakers loss would turn into this lol.
Lin was one of the best, if not the best PG in the NBA in running the half-court offense last year in NY. It was done by necessity because Lin had trouble running the fastbreak, bad enough that he was one of the worst PGs in the league on the fastbreak. Plus the Knicks were just old, at least relative to the Rockets. Lin has dramatically improved his fastbreak offense this year, but his halfcourt offense was his bread and butter. The question is whether the Rockets will allow Lin to run the halfcourt offense and whether the other players can buy in and execute.

McHale definitely nailed it today. His adjustments were right on the money. Small ball worked, I think that discredits 50% of the posts on this thread.
I'm not a fan of Mchale but he did a great job tonight. Probably the best game he's ever coached. Keep it up.
