Delfino will get abused, but sometimes you gotta spray and pray.

Trob is the only one that has any hope of matching up with him physically. He's just not seasoned enough to keep him off the boards.

    T-Jones or even give D-Mo a shot.

guess that "we need a stretch 4" argument comes back up again lol. We had 2 and traded them for a garbage rookie and draft pick

Actually I'm not opposed to giving Trob some minutes against Ibaka. Rob is an athletic freak so who knows he might have a shot matched up against him.

    That would be nice.

No one on the roster can touch the Shot-Blocka. He has found the perfect team to play against to show case his talents. I wouldn't be surprised if feeding off this Rockets' PF lineup gives him the kind of lasting confidence to take the next step in his development next season.

Why are people saying Delfino? Ibaka will turn around and abuse him with higher percentage shots. T Jones or D-Mo are the best options. D-Mo's defense is terrible too but at least his length can be a factor on the defensive side unlike Delthreeno.

Ibaka is much stronger than him though , if i'm Scott Brooks , i would run a lot of post move for Serge banging up Harden just to wear him down . We wouldn't stay a chance once our best offensive player was tired.

I agree with you on the T. Jones but instead of Donuts i think T.Rob would come in handy and if either of them gets in foul trouble then bring in Donuts.

    No.

I'd start Delfino and go with Smith at the 5 anytime the Thunder play Ibaka at the 5.
I would go small all game, but Delfino at the 5 would be taking it a little far.

Smith at least is a big body who gives you some rebounding/shot-blocking presence and he's the only Rockets big who could take advantage of the Thunder switching ball-screens. Once the Thunder go small though, really, you just hope keep the game in reach. That's why I think you have to start Delfino to match up the Rockets' small lineup up with the Thunder's starting lineup as much as possible.

Oh hmm Smith at the 5 when Ibaka plays center. Tossing Jones in as a starter for his first time in the post season is asking for trouble

Ahh I see. I always wondered.

Ibaka can't post up anybody. Not even Brooks is dumb enough to go to that consistently. He's not McHale bad.

    Delfino is the obvious answer.
