    Lol you cut to open up passing lanes. You don't just stand there. Your defender has to watch you and the ball. Wen you move he can't help as well or loses you.

    A coach can only do so much with inferior talent. Come on man, we can all see that OKC has much better players. No coach is a miracle worker, and it would take a miracle for the Rockets to beat the Thunder. People just need to be realistic. It's really not a fair fight.

    man as a lin fan this was the worst possible outcome...bet i got to remind myself that

    1. it's just one game
    2. we were never really going to win anyways...no upsets this weekend, the thunder weren't going to let us be the first

    was proud of how the guys fought in the first half...no shame losing to a better team

    dont know if there's any stats people on here but for morey's variance increase strategy... if the final number of points a team scores given a certain matchup is a random variable, doesnt matter how much you try to increase variance if OKC's mean exceeds HOU's by a certain number of standard deviations.

    there probably needs to be a fundamental/structural 'spanner in the works' type change (exogenous shock? haha) to create different outcome potentials.

    McHale really seems to have no idea how to utilize Lin. With the strange 20 minute substitutions and the fact that the rocket still don't run a decent PNR with Lin are bad signs.
