Like another poster has said, it's similar to The Island. However I think this one is a little better.
Django Unchained- 9/10. Classic Tarantino. Very entertaining 3 hours, well worth it. Killing Me Softly- 8/10. A bit slow in parts but great story and Pitt finally in a role like Kalifornia. Big fan.
Dear Zachary - 8/10 Really sad, really chilling documentary that was pretty hard to watch at times, but definitely very good. Would recommend to lovers of good documentaries, but once again very difficult to watch.
Oblivion 7/10 I give it a seven because I like apocalyptic end of the world stuff but this was a big mishmash of things in other movies. I was disappointed by the lack of originality or even a decent attempt at being original but it was entertaining nonetheless.
I'd probably give it a 6.5...maybe a 7. I did watch it in a car so it may have taken away from the movie. But it was slow and I felt that the director tried too hard at times.
Iron Man 3: 8.25/10 Good action, good story with lots of cheesy one-liners you expect Tony Stark to say, but overall a great flick...
Maniac – Surprisingly stylish remake of the 80’s grindhouse flick. Some of the shots remind me of Kubrick or Fincher films. The film is shot form the main character’s point of view which make it all the more disturbing. Elijah Wood has that weird creepiness about him as is so he’s perfect for this kind of role. A bit of overkill on the mom issues but still fairly impressive. - B Red Band trailer for those who are interested Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/x8VHjmm3hV0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm babysitting a couple of my cousins this weekend and want to know What movies must a 10-12 year olds watch.
Honestly I was thinking any Pixar movie but I think they seen them ALL already. Might just watch the Grudge haha
Not sure how to rank it, but I re-watched Hunger Games and found myself crying for a second time... Spoiler when Rue died. :'( The rest of the movie can be thrown into a trash can.
Iron Man 3 - 7/10 Good movie with real good action and acting, but my goodness... Spoiler One of the worst twists I've seen in a long time. The Manderin not even being the freaking Manderin, and turning out to be some actor was just stupid. I can't believe somebody OK'd that. Completely took me out of the movie. And also the Extremis virus thing was really under-explained and confusing. They never really explained what the goal of the real villain was. Pretty much all you knew was the people blew up....Poor storytelling, really.
