Ok......it's no big deal, but I saw Terrence Morris at West Oaks Mall today. He was carrying a shopping bag with a couple of shoe boxes. Didn't look like anyone noticed him. He was buying some cookies and talking on the phone. I decided not to say anything to him because I'm sure he was enjoying a nice day off. As he was leaving, I decided to leave too. He was taking the same route as I was taking to exit. Once I was in the parking lot, he was still in front of me. Next thing I know, his black SUV( not sure what kind) was parked directly in front of mine. As we were both getting into our cars, I was tempted to say" Good luck in the playoffs", but I decided not to. I was gonna follow him hoping to make it to the Rocket's hideout , but I didn't. Oh well, this thread could have been more interesting if I had done something, like hit his car, but I didn't. Sorry .
Back in Frederick, if you want to find Terence while he was at Maryland back for the weekend or back from the Rockets, just go to the local mall.He will be very cordial and friendly. Last summer he brought Steve Francis and Marvin Lewis (Ga Tech) back to Frederick. FREDTERP PS What's the latest in Houston, will Terence get more PT than he has gotten in the last 2-3 weeks?
Well, he's going to need those shoes. He's got to get some game somewhere. He's a bench roller that sucks...
Here's your research, terp... Terrence Morris Stats from nba.com/rockets: Games Played - 38 Minutes Per Game - 13.8 FG% - .444 3PT% - .273 FT% - .769 Points Per Game - 3.6 Rebounds Per Game - 2.80 Assists Per Game - .5 Steals Per Game - .16 Blocks Per Game - .34 Quality production from a bench roller....
Oh, come on... even I think Morris has looked useful at times this season, and I was easily one of his biggest critics last year. He still needs work (and a 3 point shot), but he's shown enough to get him a new contract next year. Of course, I would definitely like to see more Nachbar than Morris, since Doc Rocket seems to think Nachbar is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
PS (bring the edit feature back) I was certain this thread was going to be about actually seeing him getting some minutes . I'm surprised he's been out of the rotation so entirely lately...
He could of thought you were stalking him... jk I'm sure you could have approached him for an autograph... Better luck next time...
I think Rudy T's trying to whittle down the rotation to 9 guys, maybe eventually down to 8. Sorry, but unless someone gets hurt or there's an obvious mismatch to exploit, TMo's gonna hafta wait his turn on the bench. I like him, though, and hope he continues to improve his game as a Rocket.
TM has been very effective when he's gotten minutes. He has shown an improved jumper. In some games, he has been the teams most consistent mid-range jump shooter. He contributes mightly to this team. He gets loose balls, gets easy put back lay-ups, improves the ball movement when he's out there, and plays solid defense. I'm sure the team has a better winning % when he plays 15+ min than what it has when he plays less.
I believe you saw him. My girl and I seen Moochie like, 2 miles from West oaks mall at Kroger on Eldridge and Briar Forest. He was buying condoms! lol
Hey, a little of subject, but right before the Nets game ... say round 6-6:30pm, I cruised by the MB dealership and saw Yao's parents lookin' at the Benz'es ... at first I was looking for parking for the game (first game), drove round the lot and spotted his mom and dad checking out I believe it was an E or S class benz. had my camera, but sorry no pics.
lol... I've seen where Yao's parents sit at the games.. but does anyone know what exact section, row, and seat #'s they have? I want to get a seat beside them!
T-Mo's done well this year but the reason he's not getting playing time is because we've got Posey and Rice ahead of him along with Mobley since we go with three guards so often.
