The main reason the Rockets won it all in 94/ 95 was Jordan's retirement

The only reason the rockets won it all in 94/95 was because of a guy named Akeem or was it Hakeem Olajuwon.
Yeah I heard he was pretty good during the 90's
    David Robinson told me.

The reason the Bulls couldn't win it in '95 was because they lost Grant and didn't have Rodman that year.

I don't care what people say - the Bulls needed Rodman or Grant to win championships. No way they were going to win without any quality big guy.

That's what people forget the most. You put Rodman on the 95 Bulls, and yeah, they would beat Orlando and meet us in the finals for probably one of the great finals in history.

But oh well, not our fault.

Lame...all this hindsight crap is really ridiculous to even discuss cause the fact of the matter is that they won fair and square end of story. The argument is null and void cause in any instance of any aspect of any sport you could say well if this person was healthy then this team wouldnt have won and yadda yadda yadda....ridiculous.

That's what everyone outside of Houston is saying...I don't agree, but it's hard to convince them.

This is a better "aaaaaah" moment than the Brittany Griner (I hardly know her) thread.

    THIS!

I know the thread is sarcasm, but I'm quoting this because people everywhere seem to forget or underestimate that. The difference in the '95 Bulls wasn't Michael Jordan -- he was there and his usual spectacular self in the playoffs. The difference was the lack of an interior presence.

    What a troll...

Jordan played 17 games in the regular season in 1995 and averaged 26.9 ppg then put up 31.5ppg in the playoffs. Get out of here. He just lost to a better team. The next year the Bulls grabbed Dennis Rodman and got a lot better.

Basketball trivia: What player scored the most points during a regular season game in 1995 and the most points during a playoff game in 1995?

So your saying the NBA should have cancelled all games and league business until Jordan came back? Safe to say the 94-95 Rockets would have been the best teams he would have played against so who knows who would have won.
