    Harden is NOT overrated.

He just isn't clutch or a closer. And he is absolutely pathetic on defense.

We have Harden, AND a team that shows they can play great when they're moving the ball around and its not sticky, Clippers and Orlando game when they played without Harden, is a great example. Spacing was excellent, even Asik was putting up big numbers.

They also played team defense and it looked like we actually knew what we were doing out there for once.

Harden's gotta take his great talents and mesh it with the team, not the other way around. IDC if he's making max money, Stoudemire is getting paid and he's parked on the bench.

Otherwise we're going to see everyone shipped out for players that fit his style of play.

Well as a Rockets fan, wouldn't you rather he be overrated than underrated? He is what he is for now, 23 and rising. If and hopefully once he develops that mid range, even his ISO's would be much more effective. Harden has a tendency to pass up a wide open mid range shot if his path to the basket is blocked, kicks it back out and settle for the 3. Habits that can be fixed really. TO's, clock management, mid range and post are his glaring weaknesses. He is a great finisher, and lethal beyond the arc when his game is locked in. He's been clutch considering he's only 23 and already have some big games under his belt.

There will be a Jackie Robinson moment in the NBA one day, but as of today Harden is the best Rocket player and only he is largely held accountable because of his greatness.

Harden's usage rate is sickening given the amount of talent the Rockets have..

If 80% people saying ISO Harden is bad idea, it's definitely accurate assessment.

People not hate Harden, they just hate ISO ball.

uh you don't even get my point.

I'm talking about all team-based sports functioning on a particular system or strategy, and that even star players have to obey that particular system too. Jordan and Kobe won championships not only because they were great players, but also they had a decent cast of players supporting them and great coaches to direct them. You think they could have won with a team filled with nick andersons?

The same case applies outside of basketball. Take soccer for example. Manchester United is a championship team because of the synergies generated between their manager (coach), star players and supporting players. No player is above the system, and no player is above the team.

Don't try to assume things when you don't even have the minimal understanding of what someone is trying to put across. Elementary school teaches that by the way.

Struggling on the second half of the season... Maybe has something to do with the fact that he plays 40 mpg?

they have the league's highest scoring offense and Harden is not the league's leading scorer....other people are doing work. And we all know defense isnt really his strong suit.

You put Harden on the Wizards in place of Wall or Cleveland in place of Kyrie, you think they'd do much better and get in the playoffs? doubtful.

The thing is, in the 4th quarter if he's up against an athletic defender in a tight game, he's just horrible off isolation. I don't even know why it's in the playbook. They should set him a screen, or have a screen set for Lin, have Lin drive, and kick it to Harden.

Lin/Harden should be used like Rondo/Allen back a few seasons ago. I never got the Harden comparisons to swingmen like Kobe and Wade, and "who was the best SG." Harden isn't near as athletic finishing above the rim as those 2, and it's why he's constantly looking to get bailed out with a call - which isn't going to work in the NBA playoffs.

When Harden's hitting his 3-point shot, he's one of the best scoring guards in the NBA. It completely opens up his game, when he's missing he can still score but he gets really tough to watch. He's basically smooth and near impossible to guard when he's sinking his long-range shot, it opens everything up for him. But he's neither a great above-the-rim finisher or defender. In that aspect Harden's got a lot more Ray Allen to his game than that of other great scorers of the last 10 years like Kobe/Wade/Pierce/Carter.

This Rockets team actually reminds me a bit of the Ray Allen Sonics team that went to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Most 4th quarters that Sonics lineup featured Fortson/Collison/Lewis/Allen/Daniels. 1 ultra dominate rebounder, 1 other big that could finish dunks, 1 tall SF that was versatile on offense, 1 great shooter, 1 above-average slasher.

Of course, Allen was a smarter player during that time than Harden. We'll see if Harden steps it up against OKC or turns it into a personal battle.

Guys please be patient, everything is a process. This year was beyond everybodys expectations. A team young with high potential who works hard every game. This is mainly due to lack of experience and our coach fault. But thru all his shortcomings we overachive this year. So please be happy were we at! I'll take this years team over the last 3 years team. Were fast and young. So experince is the key here. Be patient!

Not really. The Rockets are the very definition of mediocre. Morey has that down to a science. The Rockets have always been mediocre ever since Morey took over.

Never bad, and never good. So the team basically did what it always does. It was mediocre, just like every other Morey team.

Morey inherited a team in shambles and was not allowed to tank. He finally got us an all star and we're going back to the playoffs with the youngest team in the NBA. I would say he is doing pretty damn good so far. This team needs to keep progressing though. We'll see how he does the next couple years.

How to lose a game is more important.
If u lose game after game afte game with Iso Iso Iso
U learn nothing at all. Target is wrong and definitely process mean nothing.
Harden is just not that kind of Iso player. Checkout what he played last season, u will know that fans.

Pick up ball with your mom and dad does not qualify you as a "college player", FYI. Shut your face and stop posting.
