Well maybe its my miniscule HS Jr. mind, or is it that N.Korea seems ready to kick our ass while Iraq seems to cooperate? What tha? And then on the other hand we have our good friend, Mr.Bin Laden running around the world, in an episode taht strangely resembles the 90s game/tv show, "Where In THe World Is Carmen Sandiego?" Who do you think is the biggest threat at the moment to the US? Who do you think is crazy enough to just go off for no reason at all?

North Korea is the bigger threat at the present, for three reasons:

    1. They have nukes, adequate means to send them to S. Korea and Japan, and probable means to send them to the U.S.

    2. China and Russia. They fought and saved the first Kim's ass. IF a war starts between N. Korea and America, China might very well intervene. Russia should stay neutral but no one can really tell.

    3. Japan and South Korea. S. Korea politicians have no plan whatsoever what to do IF the North collapses. In fact the whole South Korean nation may be in denial since the very probable event of the North falling would entail the burden of feeding twenty million people. Anti-American nationalism ran rampant in the South because of this denial. Arming Japan with nuclear weapon is the only thing America can do now, but would alienate much of the continental Asian nations.

Having said so much, I still believe that invading Iraq is correct action now because of PRACTICAL reasons. Iraq is much easier to conquer than Iran or N. Korea given its topography, weak current government and a population that KNOWS it is being repressed. A quick military victory would have great effect on the bargaining table since Tehran and Pyonyong will no longer doubt American resolve (or the nuttiness of Rumsfeld, kidding). Securing a base in the middle east and a source of oil, the deciding factor in the last World War, provide a lot of benefits.

    My thoughts exactly.

Need the North Korean capital? Try Pyongyang. Need the leader's name? Kim Jung Il.
Need a Korean word to describe him, how about something real benign like "napanom" (loosely translated: bad guy, hold's more weight in Korean than English.)
Making fun of other people's language and/or culture is not cool dude.
    I'm sure kidrock8 would agree.

They are all big threats. We are actively taking out Al Qaida, who is #1 in my book. N. Korea is a close second and then Iraq. Why take Iraq before N. Korea? Because it is easier and not nuclear yet. Didn't Saddam say that his biggest mistake was invading Kuwait before he got a nuclear weapon? Does anyone really think that this guy won't go nuclear in the future and threaten the region?

Wow, currently N.Korea leads. But, I have discovered that the hate on this BBS for the loveable duo of Stockton and Malone exceeds the hate for the Al Qaeda or Saddam. Astonishing.

None of the people or countries on that list have the ability to do the kind of sustained damage to this country that the Bush administration is orchestrating.
