Early predictions for summer player moves:

Kidd stays in Jersey. Mutombo goes to Portland for DDavis and cap filler.
Pippen re-signs with ? Phil. Lakers extend Shaq and Kobe.
Kandi and Odom sign with Spurs. Spurs swap Rose and Smith for Ratliff.
Christie is dealt for a banger, Hedo and Bobby Jax to get DC's minutes.
Kwame goes to whatever team takes Laettner and/or White and Wiz receive little in return.
Juwann re-signs with Denver and adds Arenas. Camby is traded to whichever team signs JVG ? Raptors, Rox, Sonics (if Nate goes to Charlotte), or 6ers (if Brown bows out). Spree joins them.
Wolves deal Mark Jax for his buddy Moochie. Cato heads East.

Nuggets will trade Camby, re-sign Juwan, sign Arenas and Magette and draft LeBron with the number one pick.

    PG - Arenas
    SG - James
    SF - Magette
    PF - Howard
    C - Hilario

In a few years when Skita comes into form, we'll go with a lineup like Dallas has with Skita at PF.

    LMAO.

First, Smith is a FA after the season. I don't foresee Smith's contract being big enough to force a sign and trade. 2nd, the Spurs have always been about team chemistry, which the Spurs have. Bringing in Kandi and Odom would blow it up.

Moreover, which one of Kandi or Ratiliff will be on the bench?

Ratliff gets Rose's minutes, of course.

Where is Duncan going to go? And if he stays in SA, can they really afford all of these guys (especially since they'd have to re-sign Sith as well)?

Smith isn't coming back to S.A. There's no room with Ginobili and Jackson. He's registered a ton of DNP-CDs this year and absolutely is a lock to be gone.

    my predictions:

    Duncan resigns in S.A.
    Kidd resigns in N.J.
Olowakandi signs in S.A. (after the team is unable to get Kidd)

Of course? Ratliff and Kandi are about equal level palyers. Also, SA will never ever pay a backup the max contract (which Ratliff makes I believe), "of course".

Steve Francis playing defense is more likely to occur than your scenario with SA.

I predict that Pippen will sign in LA, he'll play two more years then he'll retire with two more rings.

As for all the other moves, I'm uncertain but I don't think that Kidd will resign in NJ.

You may be correct, of course, but I suspect the scenario could unhold down I-10 as described. Scary, if true. Unless Kandi blows up the chemistry and Ratliff's injuries prove impossible to overcome.
