poor t-mac...it is never his fault...even after him saying that it's all on him to pass the first round...it's still not his fault. Let's forget that you had Yao for at least 2 of those playoff series, yet only got to game 7.

what's funny is that in his career, his goal was to get pass the first round. Not championship, not finals, not even the conference finals, but the first round. That says a lot about his career.

As a huge (ex)t-mac fan, it disappoints me to say that t-mac you're a phony and a fraud.

Following up the stat that Brooks has played more games for the Rockets than the rest of the roster combined:

Does this mean that now the Spurs roster has collectively played more games for the Rockets than the Rockets roster?

if the spurs enjoy as much success in the t-mac era as they did during the DUNCAN led championship years... (shakes head) & the rich just keep getting richer.

Wait, didn't Tinman say that Rick the Ruler hated T-Mac's guts? (Admittedly, rightfully so after what he pulled LOL!)

I'm guessing that other than that whole knee injury year, T-Mac was great to work with. But yeah, that year tarnished his career pretty effectively. Hopefully he can take advantage of this opportunity and take steps to heal those wounds. His interview after the shootaround with the Spurs was pretty thoughtful aside from the first round question. That question is always going to be pretty hairy. Like other posters mentioned though, his image would be greatly benefitted if he stopped making excuses for it.

Who would you take at this point in their career given what they make, kobe or tracy?

Kobe has whatever's left on his 28 million this season and another 30 million next season.

Tracy is getting paid a whomping 79 thousand dollars for the remainder of the season.

    :grin::grin::grin:

Lol, fake rocket fans talking about Rick adelman.
I know for sure one thing Rick never said about tmac,
He won a playoff series for me.

Yeah a healthy Kevin love and Rubio is probably whom he wanted to coach.
Only an idiot would think that he's a bad coach

Kobe is still a better leader regardless if he has a torn Achilles.

At least he got hurt busting his butt for his team.

How did tmac get hurt ? He never played as many games or minutes as Kobe. For sure no Olympics or more than 7 games in the post season.

Here's what you need to know, Shaud. (Because its not obvious, like there hasnt been 10 past years to see it)
McGrady wasnt as much of a leader, as durable and dependable as he could have been....
Now don't just sit there observing on the fence, have an opinion that you still support him in some way so I can pick your position apart and measure where your "loyalties" are.

So we can have 9 more pages of frivolous pointless debate. Cuz I'm actually just somewhat healthier in mind than Royce White, but I want to act like this is what "normal" people do and I actually can have something to "stand for".

    (Am I doing this right?)

When asked why never made it past the 1st round, he said if you saw my numbers in Houston, my numbers in the playoffs were better than the regular season, so it wasn't just me.

LOL, well I never hated Tracy the way some did, but I gotta admit his choice of words was never one of his strong suits. Everything he says sounds like a backhanded compliment, whether he means it to or not.
