Memphis man, son don't like chicken order, pull AK-47

    Gimme that chicken ... or else!

    Sometimes, you just really need that extra piece of chicken.

    A man and his son were arrested Thursday after threatening a fast-food cashier with an AK-47 after they felt they didn’t get all the chicken they’d paid for.

    The incident happened about 9:30 a.m. at the Pirtle’s Chicken at 2484 Jackson. Antonius Hart Sr., 45, and Antonius Hart Jr., 19, placed an order for chicken, paid for it and then drove off.

    A few minutes later, both men arrived back at Pirtle’s, mad that several pieces of chicken were missing from their order.

    After the cashier offered the missing chicken, the men demanded more chicken, due to the inconvenience of having to drive back. The father then brandished the AK-47 to show the cashier he meant business.

    Police came and arrested both of them, seizing the weapon and 24 rounds.

    The father was charged with aggravated assault and the son with facilitation of a felony.
