looking to be another 8 TO night for Harden.

 

We had slow starts in the past and our offense picked up in the second half. Hopefully it will be the same for this game.

 

Memphis showing us what good team defense can do

 

The problem is that it has worked all season long. All season he drives to the lane gets a foul call and makes free throws. It looks terrible in the few games the refs swallow the whistle, but you don't lead the league in FT attempts if you aren't getting calls most of the time.

I mean him and Durant are the only 2 players with 700+ FTA and there only 2 others with at least 600 attempts.

 

I just hope Harden doesn't become the next Corey Maggette. Please don't let that happen.

Chandler's our glue guy. Hope the rest he's getting is going to pay off in playoffs.

 

Looks like the Rockets can't even compete with the Memphis and Denver type teams, not as long as James Harden keeps on looking like Ricky Davis whenever he's covered by a good defender and a good defense.

Probably heading into a 0-4 post-season no matter which team they match up with, leading to rejection by top free agents in the summer.

 

Asik really isn't giving us very much tonight.

I hope McHale counters with small ball in the second half. We need to start scoring and fast.

 

Same as the Phoenix game...they do not want to play with effort. We are damn lucky to have pulled that game out. This showing,Sac and then finish with Phoenix and Lakers on the road. Throw in that Memphis hasn't won in Houston since 2006 and are 5-30 overall. Shameful not to play with more pride than we've shown.We'll have plenty of chance to not catch GSW in the last 2 if you want to tank...no need for what we've seen the first half.

Personally, I'm not worried at all.

Shooting 30%, 8 TO disadvantage, giving up tons of offensive rebounds, and only 13 points behind with the entire 2nd half to go?

It's a 5 possession differential. Tons of time for the #1 offense in the NBA to get back in the game if they make some shots in the 2nd half.

Really, it's like people forget that it's a 4 quarter game and are dying to jump all over this team. They're young, and won't be consistent for 4 quarters most games.

This game is far from over.

low percentage? 2 pt fg% per shot is higher than 3pt so what are you talking about? our layups are highly contested and ref not calling anything. plan a should always be moreyball. it works, BUT in moderation. if things go south, you MUST adjust. but the rox seem to continue even if its not working...

 

I think alot of teams showed the refs videotapes showing how Harden purposely draws the foul, so they are less likely to call fouls when Harden crashes the board now.

 

That was a nice pass by Greg. Hopefully that gets Asik going.

 

My god, Lin is so useless when he doesn't run the offense.
