Must've done something bad for the Spurs to fire him.

I doubt it. He could probably be mentally worn out. I think he lost a child earlier in the season, who knows if he just feels like he should rather be at home cause his heart isn't in playing?

This surprises me even though I haven't really followed the Spurs. Thought they really liked him when they traded for him. was he being a head case or just not playing well? Knicks pick him up?

Spurs must have finally got around to reading that Forbes article on most overpaid NBA players.

He's a loud mouth. They waited just long enough so he wouldn't hurt them on another team.

Pops is one man who knows when to cut the cord. Which somehow makes me think of Royce White.

Nah man, you were probably right the first time. San Antonio and the Spurs have always loved him even when he left them the first time. I don't doubt this is just a side effect of the personal issues he is going through.

Meanwhile we still have the b*stard Royce White on our books who never hesitates to humiliate us publicly.

He ain't bout about dis life.

Would say this ends the Spur's chances this year, but I'm sure they will plug in some random end of bencher and be fine.

    (But, this ends their chances.)

Too bad he couldnt play for us if we picked him up. He would be a great veteran presence and add some 3 point shooting as well as toughness and leadership

Grab em for next year Morey! Delfino might get picked up elsewhere
