Vet minimum amount varies and changes based on the number of years experience the player has. A player with 10 years experience will have a higher vet min, than a players who's played 4 years. So Kenyon Martin's minimum will be different and more than Greg Smith and Gary Neal's min. So its difficult to know who's on a true vet min, and some of them are midseason amounts prorated that look even less, but they coulda signed a little "more".
Thats a good list of dirt cheap/vet min players. I'd take out Derek Fisher and put in Patrick Beverley over him, even Mike James. Fisher is coasting on rep now. I believe Antawn Jamison is on a vet min deal, so I'll put him in too.
Nate Robinson, Patrick Beverly Chase Budinger, Gary Neal Chandler Parsons, Matt Barnes Greg Smith, Kenyon Martin Jermaine O'Neal, Chris Anderson
In case you missed it, Nate and Jimmy Butler went OFF against the Knicks last night. Here's the highlights: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/v8Gcw7xsqjk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I try to watch most of the Bulls games since Thibs is over there and I really, really like him a lot. I think he should be coach of the year for keeping that team thriving without DRose. And Nate and Jimmy Butler are huge reasons why. Nate has a set of kahonas like 2 bags of quikrete. Here's their stat lines from last night's game. Nate 33 minutes 10/18 5/11 10/10 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 2 turnovers 35 points Jimmy 50 minutes 9/15 2/3 2/5 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 0 turnovers, 22 points Less than $2 million total for those guys. That's crazy. And everybody should have a rooting interest in Jimmy Butler. He's a Tomball kid. Good kid too.
Butler is already has that NBA size and weight. He is going to be borderline all star when it's all said and done. Poison Pill him
