Hmmm... You know that innings limit? Isn't it 1250 innings? We only have 6 pitching spots - 2 SPs, 2 RPs, and 2 Ps. Now, lets say you have the best 4 SPs in the game and the best 2 RPs in the game. That's about 250 innings per SP and 100 per RP, or 1200 innings. We'll never reach the inning limit with our setup.... meaning the damn rotating strategy crap would still be effective. Am I missing something?
I don't enjoy the principle of an inning limit, but 1250 does seem to be a spacious number. I'll stand by it. Though, it will, eventually smote me in the final week of the season.
1250 is the innings limit that yahoo runs on all its public leagues, so that number isn't all that extreme, except for one main difference. in our league, as major said, we have only 6 pitchers while in normal yahoo leagues there are 7 pitchers to take up those 1250 innings, so there could be a discrepancy. i don't really care either way, i just wanted to point that out.
DC, Ill make the offer even sweeter for you if you still want to trade: Ill give you : Kent (13) Rollins (108) 157 for Soriano (8) 137 152 Instead of 156, you get 157 (just in case you try to take my player), but now instead of 128, you give up 152 (which is only 5 spots down from 157)
Sorry Riet, I think Soriano's edge over Kent is greater than the edge Rollins would have over a shortstop I pick. Y'all leave me no other choice. 137. Jason Isringhausen (yeah, yeah...I know. BURN!)
