I just wonder if Boki can give us a lift as offensive weapon. We need some good shooter that can simply knock down some open shots.

    No! No! No!

The Rockets have endured enough adjustments and changes during the last two seasons. Even if Boki comes in and hits 45% from the outside the Rockets would not have time to adjust to him in the offense before the season would be over.

The Rockets should go with who is in the rotation for better of for worse at this point. Minor adjustments are ok but putting Boki in the rotation would be a big adjustment at this point in the season.

Wait till next year and see how he fits.

Rudy won't play him at this point for sure. He should have gotten some PT throughout the season.
One thing I like about Boki is that he will drive to the hoop instead of just stand out at the 3 point line. He can handle the ball well, and has shown that he is not selfish and can move the ball. That with very little PT. He needs a chance, but I agree that it is too late to start.
He should have been in when Rice was hurt.

He seems like a nice enough guy and a decent player, but if he was good enough to help the team, he would be playing. Period.

You guys ever wonder why he doesn't get playing time?? If he was "Peja jr", then why wouldn't he get PT with JP out there shooting brick after brick?? He isn't ready to play period. He might be next year, but if you can't see the floor with the pathetic shooting that we have displayed so far, then there has to be a reason...hmmm defense maybe.

Can someone give me some definable answer abouty why Boki has never seemed to get anything like a chance this year? I am serious, please...have I missed something? Is there some kind of insider info? Cause I can't recall ever seing a guy picked this high, who is ( now, from what I assume ) healthy, about whom an organization was so excited, get so little playing time. It is a serious mystery to me.

Will someone tell me WHY they think Nut-bar should get playing time? You earn playing time in the practices. If he deserved it, he'd atleast still be on the bench. But he's on the IR for crying out loud, watching the games from his couch in his living room eating coco puffs!

I agree. It would've been worth it to trade that pick for a backup PG or a backup SG.

maybe since Tmo is in a contract year
and he's a college alum bro with Francis(gotta appease Francis) that he's next in line behind Rice. and you know Rudy's not going play Boki ahead of Rice because Rice is known to cause a stir when he's not happy. So though Boki might be the better player of the two maybe he's caught in a senoirity game. plus the little time Boki did play earlier in the year, I saw Francis freeze him out most of the time. Just looks like theres a bunch of weird Rocket brotherhood **** going on with that whole thing.

all of the above could be completely false...except Francis freezing out Boki...I saw that.

Stroke, do you honestly believe that with all the shooting problems that the Rox have had this year, that Boki wouldn't get playing time because of TMo ( a backup at best)is in a contract year, or Rice may get pissed??? He isn't getting playing time, because he hasn't earned it period.

Complete and utter bull****. TMo is five times the player Boki is. THAT'S why he's getting the minutes.

yes, I honestly believe that. And I honestly believe Appllo Creed is full of it. : P TMo would make a hell of mason with all them damn bricks he puts up.

Apollo, talk to you in a year when Boki is doing the boki pokey all through defenses and turning defenses around with Peja like statistics. Im willing to make a freindly wager on it. here it is: when Boki gets a consistent and respectable amount of playing time, you will admit that he is far the superior player of the two. $20 $50? 100? thats just my game...your call.

Stroke, he might just turn into the next Peja, the jury is still out. However, he isn't getting playing time because right now he isn't Peja, and doesn't deserve it.

    Thank you.

Stroke, did I say TMo will ALWAYS be five times the player Boki will be? Did I say that he'd never get better? Try actually reading my post next time. Urging someone to bet with them is the last resort of a man who can't get anyone to believe him.

At this point one must conclude that either

    1) Boki was the most hyped bust the Rox have ever drafted; or

    2) Boki has been royally screwed by Rox and on virtually any other team would have received decent minutes to prove himself.

Isn't it that clear by now?

Sure, Boki can help in our playoff push -- SOMEbody has to make sure the guys who actually play stay properly hydrated. I vote that we take Boki's uniform and give it to Colin Pine.
