Ok, well I guess we're one step closer to the 6th seed (not sure that's a good thing), and our odds of actually making the playoffs went from about 99% to 95%

GSW announcers are one of my favorites to listen to. They lost but they're giving all the credit to the Jazz. Great announcers.

I don't care if we match up with the Nuggets; they are still a better match-up than OKC. I would even be OK with a Spurs match-up.

    Spurs, Clippers, Nuggets.

Unfortunately, I was watching the Jazz broadcast. Agreed the sissy Warriors have great announcers.

It doesn't matter if it's OKC or Denver in the 1st round. Rockets will get clobbered. I'd prefer the Spurs. If Ty Lawson isn't back, then please be the Nuggets.

Great day for the Rockets. Both the Warriors and the Lakers lose.

I'd rather play the Thunder or the Spurs then going up against the Nuggets. Iggy just seems to have Harden's #.

Still, glad Utah won. Keeps LAL out the playoffs.

I am on lakersground reading the reactions. Priceless to say the least. Mass suicide about to happen there.

It isn't time to panic (yet) for Lakers fans. However, if Utah beats OKC Tuesday, then they might want to start scouting bridges to jump off.

I know they've won 7/8 but the Jazz are like a yo yo. My guess is they split their last 4 games.

While I agree that Harden seems to struggle vs. Iggy, I'd like him to get that playoff experience against an elite defender. We all know his last playoff series didn't go very well, and in a year of low expectations, might as well get some more experience even if it's not the greatest matchup. He's eventually gonna have to be able to play up to his normal excellence even when going up against guys like Iggy...

Please quote good ones... could always use a laugh or two at the expense of Lakers fans.

We WON'T lose that game against Houston if our season depends on it. If you would have given us an L against the Spurs or GS then fine but I believe with 100% certainty that if our season is on the line for that last game of the season, we'll WIN.

For the longest time I thought lakersground was a parody forum, like the flat earth society. There are multiple threads there thinking that there is actually a conspiracy AGAINST the Lakers!

Yeah but I read somewhere you can't shed/amnesty Nashy because he was signed after the collective bargain agreement (CBA) so I would say we keep him and don't amnesty ANYONE but maybe, maybe, try and trade Pau if we can get Harden or maybe just wait till 2014 when LBJ comes here.

In what world do Laker fans live in where you trade a top 10 player in the league AND arguably top at his position for an aging, injury prone forward on a team filled with forwards?

Seriously. Are those the bandwagon fans posting or what?

There is really a chance that we can knock the Lakers out of the playoffs in the last game. I called that earlier. :)

I wonder if the Rockets would actually TRY to knock them out even if they clinched a Playoff berth. If there was nothing on the line for the Rockets would they be that cold-blooded? I hope so.

If the Lakers need to beat the Rockets in the last game of the season to make the playoffs, there is a 100% chance David Stern will be center-court courtside at Staples Center death-staring the refs the entire game. Over/under FT advantage for Lakers: 59.5
