Are you sure about this? I went to both websites, and I don't see anything.

If he does come, hopefully the storylines are good for him so he might be persuaded to stay longer.

But I think it would be better to see him on Raw feuding w/ the Rock and SCSA. He would get more pop there than on Smackdown.

This is what I got from this website on the Goldberg negotiations:

    http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/publish/article_2918.shtml

An ESPN radio affiliate apparently has reported today that Goldberg has signed with WWE. They based their reports on a Goldberg family member saying such at last night's L.A. Lakers game. PWTorch.com has learned that no deal has been signed and no deal is any closer than our report earlier indicated.

    http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2003/articles/1046930662.php

It appears that any recent stimulants of the Bill Goldberg/WWE rumors appear to be just speculation in the midst of some tough times for the WWE heading into Wrestlemania.

HOWEVER, despite having talks recently, the WWE and Goldberg are split on the negotiations on the number of dates Goldberg would work. Current indications are that neither side are willing to budge on their negotiation stance. Unless either side changes up their stance, a deal with Bill Goldberg won't get done anytime soon.

Tough luck, DJ JFive. And why was this thread started? WWE 2.0 was going just fine.

Why would ESPN Radio report pro wrestling news??

Oh wait...I forgot that this is the same network that broadcasts cheerleading championships...

From one of the websites above:

    http://www.1wrestling.com/news/newsline.asp?news=12811

To those who have asked, all I can add to what Joe McDonnell reported on Bill Goldberg last night is that I have heard all week that people close to Goldberg are saying that the deal is either done or close to done. I haven't heard any corroboration from anyone in WWE about it, but at this point, if Goldberg has indeed signed, I can see why they wouldn't confirm it. So, at this point it's impossible for us to say whether it's done or not.

And now on a more serious note:

    http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/publish/article_2923.shtml

Mayor threatens Bischoff's Girls Gone Wild

Panama City Mayor Lee Sullivan is threatening to have the anyone promoting or taking part in public nudity arrested during spring break. The mayor's remark was in direct response to the March 13 "Girls Gone Wild" pay-per-view, which is being produced by Eric Bischoff and the WWE production team.

"I hope, and have asked, that those people who unchain (the girls) and ask them to go wild will make that trip (to jail)," Sullivan is quoted as saying on MSN.com. The story notes that police have been on the look out for "public nudity, lewd acts and disorderly conduct" ever since the "GGW" production team and tour bus arrived.

Sullivan also threatened that police will also arrest anyone who "solicits someone else to violate the law." Although "GGW" producers and WWE officials have yet to comment, one can only assume they are thrilled with the free publicity.

Jeez nWo, I'm just passing along a rumor. I didn't say it was a done deal. If I had thought someone would take it they way you are I wouldn't have posted it. So lay off the whole "Tough luck, DJ JFive" stuff. About WWE 2.0, I posted this on a new thread because 2.0 seemed to be buried and the number of posts decreased in recent days. I'm just trying to get this topic going again, that's all. :)

Hey nWo just to let ya know in case you haven't heard, the GGW PPV isn't in Panama City anymore. They moved it to South Padre! If only I could make the road trip...

Any thoughts on Raw? I only have one complain, damn, the WWE is pretty freaking desperate to even be associated with GGW on Raw. The whole wet Tshirt thing was lame but Stacy did make up for it. I was real surprise bout the Hurricane/Rock match. Of course you thought to yourself, "there is no way in hell Hurricane is going to win", but throughout the match I was telling myself "HOLY ****, Hurricane may win, maybe even cleanly!". I was happy that he won and more than happy that Rock put him over. Really, do u expect someone like Triple H or Stone Cold to job someone like that? Even if it wasnt a clean victory, those 2 WOULD NEVER do that. With that and Rock letting Booker over, I have more respect for him than ever before. The whole Triple H racist angle is pretty dumb, but I do like seeing get his ass whipped!

^^ My sentiments exactly Dave. I'm not feeling that TripleH/Booker T angle. What was up with that damned long 15 minute commercial break? Causing (mush to my dismay) Trish's match to be cut extremely short. I think Book is gonna win, just too much blatant disrespect for the 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time heavyweight champion! Now can you dig that SUCKA!??!?!

I'm really enjoying the Rock/Stone Cold feud. Its good to have them both back - they are the two best mike workers among the wrestlers, IMO. They both pick up the quality level of the show. I really like the Rock as a heel, too. I can't see him losing a third Wrestlemania to Austin. I bet they will come up with some swerve allowing the Rock to win, while still saving face for Austin.

    Stone Cold at WM17, 2001.

Yeah, he wasn't the bad guy going in, but it still happened.

I thought it was Triple H at WM XVI.

Steve Austin doesn't count as a bad guy. Especially in Houston.

The Rock was booed heavily that night at the Dome.

Ok, the WWE just announced that the Miller Lite Catgirls are going to fight at WM. WTF is this??? Is this out of desperation? I know that WM is suppose to be the biggest event of the year, but this is too much. Plus, Limp Bizkit is going to perform at WM. I wish they performed at the WM when they came here, "My Way" was the PERFECT song for that event.
