the guy that sounds like a ****** is the only announcer besides Tommy H from the C's to make me want to punch my computer. The guy was flat out r****ded. At one point he was like "Anticipation call so they just gave it to chandler.." replay shows grabbing our guy like 2 secs later.
mid range anyone? we seriously need to quit with the extreme moreyball and have a more balanced attack.
Midrange game is so vital it isn't even funny. Wilson did hit alot of 3s but those midrange shots were money all game long. Teams that have won championships without a Hakeem type center to play inside out with have always been really good from the mid.
1. We learn that #6 seed, having a great chance of playing against Denver, is not necessary easiler for our playoff journey. 2. We learn that Faried is the type of PF we need, I hope one of our PF can develop into that.
This last game the Rockets were doing great in the first quarter, until the team choked on the thin air, then showed no energy the rest of the game. It was the back end of a back to back. If the Rockets are: - at full strength (Parsons and Delfino back) - with plenty of rest - and the Nuggets are missing Lawson & Gallinari ... then I think we could take them. The Nuggets are way deeper than us so losing a couple guys is way worse for our rotation than theirs. Our starters could probably take their starters, but their bench just murders our bench every time. In fact, I think their 3rd string could take our 2nd string. And although Gallo is out for the season, it looks like Lawson will be back. Lawson is a tough match up for Lin and just runs him into the ground on D. With Harden and Lin neutralized, it'll be up to Parson & Delfino to hit 3's to keep us in the game. Denver would be a tough match up in the playoffs.
We lost the game last night because of our bigs. If Asik was playing his normal game we probably would have won or at least made the game closer. If Asik plays normally and one of our PFs shows up we can take them.
What I observed is that superstars may be over rated. That team has no superstar to speak of, but they have a bunch of good players, a deep bench, a prooven coach. That team seems to have great speed, and strength, and skills. They played with a lot of energy and they have great chemistry. They will give the Spurs or thunders a good fight.
We were down 19 points by the end of 3rd quarter, and that was we had shoot 80% 3 pointers in the 1st quarter. You think Parsons can make up for it? Proof again that the best player is the one who hasn't played.
This. It is not by accident Denver has got one of the best records in the league. Pray that we don't play them in the playoffs and move on.
1. 7th spot is what we need for now. 2. Rockets need some "bruisers" down low with decent offense and excellent defense. Enough of the finesse stretch 4s. 3. Harden needs to play a little bit more defense. 4. Parsons needs to become more like a "Pippen" offensively and defensively. He's sorely missed in this game. 5. We need better designed offensive plays to use when Harden isn't effective.
I cannot think of a worst match up than Denver, not even the Heat, whom we always managed to stay close. Denver exploits our biggest weaknesses: weak transition D and porous perimeter D.
