I have always been a Spurs hater, mostly due to Ginoboli's toucan nose. I think it would be weird to hate a team for so long, almost your entire life, then get drafted to it. -_-

    Anyways, discuss....this should be good.

    The Jazz. No explanation necessary.

To get a million/yr+ to play Basketball I'd suck it up with any team.

That said, I'd really hate to be on a forever loser with horrible management more so than teams I hate.

Bobcats, Kings type teams would be worse than Lakers, Mavs, Jazz. It would feel so ****ty to play year after year and knowing you have no chance to win anything.

Sacramento. If you've ever been there you'd know why. Their citizens make Duck Dynasty look like intelligent royalty. COPS could record a full season of shows there in 1 week.

I think, regardless of what team you hated as a fan, you'll learn to like them, if you play for them. It happens to players all the time. I'd have a problem playing somewhere where it's always cold.

Sacramento. Broke owners, one of the oldest arenas in the country, no support from local govt, org has no clue how to develop players, couldn't afford a real coach so they signed Smart for cheap for 2 years

Only good thing about Sacramento is the fanbase, and with how crappy that org is I don't know why they even bother

The way I see, if you are good enough, you get to choose who you play for. If you aren't, then you play wherever you can.

Speak for yourself, If I was drafted to the Kings or Bobcats I would step my game up and carry us atleast into the 2nd round

You being a loser is on your own shoulders

The Clippers just because the owner is a piece of ****:
And that's just only a few tidbits I found on Donald Sterling. I would never be a fan of a team he owns even if it is our very own Rockets.

    This.

Even if you're terrible, you're getting paid close to 500k.

500k to ride the bench, have courtside seats to NBA games, and get access to some of the best training facilities (regardless of how crappy your team is).

    That's the life right there.

I think you have to answer this without thinking about the salary incentive.

Money aside, I would absolutely hate to play in Utah, Memphis, New Orleans and Charlotte. Not appealing.

I'd play for Houston any day of the week.

Consideration would go to Portland. Love the city and the people there are some of the most intelligent "randoms" I have met. It's a huge generalization, but I felt like people are friendlier and more carefree there as well.

If I am getting paid I'll play for anybody.

Money aside, I love NYC so I would love to play for the Knicks or Nets.
Especially now that the Nets are in Brooklyn and not Jersey.

I love San Francisco so the Warriors would be great.
Portland or Seattle are great cities as well.

I really don't like Detroit or Cleveland. Living there would be at the bottom of my list.

And as much as everybody here hates the Jazz, Salt Lake is s great city and the people are great.

I would hate to play for the Lakers. Kobe would constantly be yelling at me for sucking at basketball
