Olajuwon to score 15-20 pts 10-12 rebs in 30 minutes or 6-10 pts 5-8 rebs in 15 minutes.

    Is this a trick question?

We are a better rebounding team with Dream on the court. The longer he is on the court, the better our chances of winning.

Thats a very hard choice to make. I will think about that one. [IMG].

If we pick one can you guarantee it will happen?

    You're kidding, right?

Man, Dream coming back to that form would be amazing. Obviously, I would take that first choice.

I am guessing that your question is referring to the notion that Hakeem's presence might inhibit the growth of our other centers. Well, first of all, people argue this under the assumption that Dream will not put up such numbers. Second of all, Kelvin Cato will not bring that to the table anytime soon. So, if Dream is capable of putting those numbers up there is no reason to leave him on the bench. It's not as if Cato would be making up for his absence. I'm really starting to fear the fact that he'll be our starting center at one point.

Me too Ace, Me too. I don't see very much improvement in Cato's offensive game.

I didn't need to think in order to answer this one. I'll gladly take the higher numbers, thank you very much.

Ok I pick the most reasonable one.

    .05 - 4 points , 2-5 rebounds in 10 minutes.

I say we will get about 22PPG, 11RPG, 5 APG, 1.7 BPG, 1.6 SPG on 50% shooting in 36 MPG out of Hakeem.........After we trade him for Garnett! [IMG]

I'm not too impress the way Cato play on the offensive board, I rather have Hakeem on the floor for at least 20-30 min per game.

I would chose Cato's 12 ppg 8 rpg 2.5 bpg in 38 min and blocking Shaq in route to a second round playoff birth.

    interesting thread.

i would love to see hakeem be his old self. well actually his young self would be best. fact of the matter is that he wont be and im ok with that.
Hakeem is planing on being a major part of the team. hakeem is willing to take a minor role on the team. based on this his assertions i am glad we have him for this his last season.
i beleive that hakeem will begin the season in impressive fasion. i am sad to say that he will likly slow down mid season and make room for Cato. i fully beleive that Cato will be emerging as a capable center at this point in the season. Hakeem will re emerge to show his warrior spirit near the end of the season in order to make the playoffs.

by the end of it all im confident that the dream will have played an average of 23mins, score 14 pts, and get 8 boards, and 4 assists. this is unless he is injured. if injured his averages would be higher.
