    I know it isn't as sexy as 50-40-90 club, or the 60-80 club, but it is quite exclusive.

    Of guys who actually shot enough to qualify for the three point crown there is only one member currently. There is a current player who might make it. I am going to guess the current player who might make it is pretty easy to identify. Anyone want to guess the only current member of of 55-40 club without looking it up?

    i had to look it up, i ran out of guesses. and shame on me, considering that player spent a few years on my favorite team.

    Nope, but talk about coming close. shot 54.8% while over 40% from 3.

    There are other guys have done it too if you get rid of the qualify for 3's clause, but that kind of defeats meaningfulness of the record. If you only take like 50 or 60 3's the entire season how meaningful is your 3 point %. Chris Mullins had some crazy good shooting years.
