Guys, calm down, I just realized that Mchale is a genius! He is thinking about playoff match up now! Also he wants the starters be fresh in playoff!

You put the starters in and hope they wake up and make a push. The bench did great to make a comeback but they got tired. What happens if they get down 15 pts tomorrow to the clippers? Are we not going to see the starters again?

Quoting announcers, I wonder if other teams fans quote Bill and Clyde?

Come on dude, if you had our starters playing their bench you don't think they could have done that. Use your head, the bench did what they were supposed to do against another teams bench, when they are done you pat them on the ****ing back, tell them good job, and watch the starters win the game, or at least try.

They have been a bad starting team for the entire year...

Maybe that's not ALL on the players and their effort...but the players not being prepared properly for games..

For nearly the entire half? No, I can't recall it. When the game was in reach and we're pushing for the playoffs? I don't remember it. I'm not saying it's never happened... but I've just never seen it. It felt like McHale gave up.

And I know why: it's because the starters had already given up. But I've just never seen it done to that extent before.

The thing is,the bench showed will. The starters looked like they didnt not want to be out there tonight,so Mchale granted their wish.Let me go on record by saying I usually NEVER agree with Mchale.

Well, Rockets lost against a team that they were expected to lose, so it's no surprise. Rockets will be losing most of remaining games. Just hope Utah loses most of them also.

Nope, that's not it! He was scoring at nauzium the first part of the season, I personally think he is wearing down.....this is his first season as the focal point of a team.

I have no problem with McHale benching his starters in the 4th, wish he would have done it during the long losing streak. As a group the starters were hot garbage tonight. Their defensive rotations sucked. They sucked defensively inside and they made poor decisions in the read and react offense. Harden took stupid jumpers and other than Parsons, everyone else stood around.

The starters did NOTHING, not confident that we would have won bringing the starters back. Now McHale gets his point across and the starters are rested to play the Clippers. Something had to be done.

Didn't Morey say he wanted Rockets to play Grizzlies in playoffs?

Maybe McHale was just following Morey.

Ppl here give mchale toomuch credit He cant coach. How many more years will the rockets put up with his ****ty substutions? Its easy to blame players, a good coach finds ways to reach and motivate his players.
