So who's not contributing to the balanced attack? Lin. If Lin can be more consistent in attacking and not constantly defer to Harden then the team would have been at a better place at this point and McHale wouldn't need to bench Lin as much.

Mchale benching Lin doesn't just go one way. LOF needs to understand Lin is also accountable for his own performances on the court. If Lin doesn't play to what is expected of him, than Lin needs to look in the mirror, root out the problem, and try to improve whatever it is that he's not doing.

If Beverley is not starting material, neither is Lin. Lin is playing like a backup in the past 3 games. Lin can play like a starter on some nights but he can also play like a backup on most nights. If he can start performing up to the level of a starter than his scrubness talks will subside.

That's the bball logic of ALL LOFs. For people who understands bball, we can just sit here and laugh our ass off. Logic eh.

So Harden, the player who shoots less per game, has higher field goal percentage, and has wayyy higher True Shooting % (Harden: 60.9 TS% > Westbrook: 53.2 TS%) is supposed to be the second option? Yeah, got it. lololol

    You missed this quote:

"I don’t play well without spacing and I don’t play well when we’re really not getting out in transition,” Lin said. “Those are two things we need to get better at, that coach has talked to us about, is pushing the ball more, having the wings run down all the way to the corners, having the bigs run to the post area and having me and Pat pushing the ball and trying to make something happen."

Lin needs to expand his game so that he's not handcuffed to only needing to play with space and in transition. This exactly Lin's problem. Offensively, Lin doesn't have the kind of skillset that a Westbrook, Rose, Wall, Parker, CP3, Irving can still thrive w/out needing a certain style of play to thrive.

Can Lin improve? Maybe. So far this season, it's more of the same old thing.

Thats the problem with u . Can u please read this?

Finally a decent article explaining some of the coach's logic in pulling Lin. Bummer that the interviews aren't posted anywhere I can find:

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocket...g-going-again/

    ---------------------------
Rockets guard Jeremy Lin went from three-consecutive games scoring at least 20 points to three games failing to reach double figures. But Rockets coach Kevin McHale said that might indicate sluggishness and breakdowns of the Rockets’ offense as a whole more than Lin’s play, especially Wednesday against the Pacers.

Too easy, Lin plays less than 30 minutes, Rockets lose a close one.

Why you tying the lost to how Lin plays? LOL. You should instead write what can Lin do to help this team win. That's what you should really talk about LOF.

I didn't miss any quotes, as I was addressing McHale's decision, which is the part I was interested in. The link to the article was so people could read it. I'm glad you found the part you were interested in.

You're proving more that my point is correct, Harden should still be the no 1 option if Westbrook was a Houston Rocket today.

    Dude, who's "RB"?

Oh really. So is this Lin's fault or McHale's fault?

LOF: Of course it's all McHale's fault. Lin needs to play more minutes so the space gets bigger and transitions starts flowing and Lin will float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

Big game tonight against the Grizz. We need to bounce back from that horrifically played game the other night against the Pacers. The Grizz actually have better low post players that are as physical as the Pacers. So with that being said they probably mimic the same approach to this game...And that's to beat us up in the paint and rough house our backcourt players...The Grizz however are in a lil funk right now. So we need to attack the rim and move the ball around to the open shot and/or lane is available.

    Let Go Rockets

    ^Dude:
1.) you don't watch games, you don't know that Lin is asked to give ball up to Harden and go to camp in corner 3
2.) you can't read boxscore/ stats either (you're saying the player with higher PPG, higher FG%, way higher TS%, higher PER, on less FGA is supposed to be 2nd option to other player who's inferior in ALL of those same categories?)
3.) you can't type/ write ("RB" for Russell Westbrook)?

You don't watch games, you can't read boxscore/ stats, you can't write either, so what you do? :)

No, we're talking about how you say Westbrook will be useless like Lin if he's playing for the Rockets. Westbrook will not be useless like Lin cause Westbrook has way too much talent to be sitting on the bench like Lin. Just picking the TS% and claiming the reason Harden should be the first option is a fallacy when comparing to Westbrook. Derrick Rose has nearly the same TS% as Westbrook, but Rose is the top dog of Bulls so now what? LOL. What else do you have? So what's Lin's TS% and PER?
