I agree with the above posters that a ban should be considered for posting such a horrifically bad idea.
I hate Romo. That said, I'd take him over Schaub for the immediate future. Our window is 2 or 3 years. Options are extremely limited in that time frame. Although a change of scenery likely wouldn't knock the stupid out of him, it could give him a little boost.
I think you are being slightly myopic. That pass you are talking about where he got picked off in the last game of the season happen to be a function of a crap oline. The Redskins were up in his grill the entire game and they were generating enough pressure with their dline and the LB dropped into a zone coverage and Romo had to get the ball out. The Redskins had been sending that LB on a blitz previously. If you give Romo a better Oline, he would lead the Texans to a more dynamic offense.
Texans are too boring for Manziel. Kubiak wears tighty whities and only does the deed missionary. Manziel can't thrive under those conditions.
So Romo got 1 more year and $42M more than Schaub. Romo's $55M guaranteed is almost as much as Shaub's entire $66.15M extension. I get why people might like him more, but he's not THAT much better.
