it will be too much a burden for me. It'd be better off if we count on Mchale. I am sure he will do the right thing.

This is stupid. Bev is obviously not starting material right now, but you want to throw the poor guy out there just so you can say "I told you so" to McHale?

He hasn't because he's made to give the ball to Harden as soon as he crosses half-court, and camp in corner. How can you play aggressive when you get the ball in corner, and get it only like 1 out of 3 times that you're open?

Even if the Rockets had Russell Westbrook, who's incredibly athletic and most lethal at attacking the rim, and we got him to do this (give ball up to Harden every possession) and only get the ball in corner, he'd also look pretty useless.

Typical response from boxscore watchers. Watch the games.

Giving the ball to Harden crossing half-court and camping in the corner is so broken, jaded, and unsubstantial that it doesn't even register anymore. Once you referenced those points, I immediately know your level of bball understanding so there's no need to elaborate further.

On the point of Westbrook, you must have forgotten that RW is the 2nd option in OKC and Harden was the 6th man. If RW was on the Rockets, RB would be the first option and Harden the second. Do you see why Lin is so useless compared to RB?

Typical argument from LOFs. When they can't talk with bball knowledge to refute a point they resort to two things:

    1) You boxscore watch and didn't watch the game
    2) Lin camps at the corner and gives the ball to Harden

    Actually 3 things:

    3) McHale is a dipstick for not playing Lin.

Here's a question to all LOFs. Please point out any of Lin's weaknesses as a player.

LOF: There is none are you kidding me. He's the next Michael Jordan.

As unsubstantial as you are in never actually watching the games?

Dude, Harden averages 26ppg this season. RW is at 23ppg. If RW joined the Rockets today, he'd be second option.

You don't watch the games, and you don't understand how numbers work either from boxscore watching. What you do?

We need balanced attached from our starting back court.

For this season's 69 games played so far, when Jeremy's FGA compare to James Harden's FGA:

There are total 22 games where James FGA - Jeremy's FGA =< 5,
    the record is w-L = 19-3;

    There are total 32 games where 5 < (James FGA - Jeremy's FGA) =<10,
    the record is w-L = 11-21

There are total 15 games where (James FGA - Jeremy's FGA) > 10
    the record is w-L = 9-6

It is so obvious which category we have the best chance of win.

I hate here people always go either Jeremy or Harden, it is obvious that we need both, and we need balanced attack from both!

Yeah cause Harden is the only scorer on the Rockets, duh. RB still has Durant on the team. If Westbrook was on the Rockets and not OKC, he would be the primary scorer and score just as much as Harden if not more. LOL. Stop please, you're too hilarious.

Finally a decent article explaining some of the coach's logic in pulling Lin. Bummer that the interviews aren't posted anywhere I can find:

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/03/rockets-lin-to-try-to-get-scoring-going-again/

    ---------------------------
Rockets guard Jeremy Lin went from three-consecutive games scoring at least 20 points to three games failing to reach double figures. But Rockets coach Kevin McHale said that might indicate sluggishness and breakdowns of the Rockets’ offense as a whole more than Lin’s play, especially Wednesday against the Pacers.

    ...

For the point guard a lack of ball movement can be especially difficult because he is most likely to give the ball up early in the possession, but not get it back.

“It’s ebb and flow of the season,” McHale said. “Sometimes, it’s going to be there, sometimes not quite as much. He’s had some really good stretches. He’ll find it.”

When Lin does well, it's because he's allowed to play pg (3 straight scoring 20pt scoring games) When Lin does bad, it's because he's forced to give up the ball to Harden and remain in the corner.
