maybe the Orlando odds are that low cause One team from each conference must make the finals and the Magic are a good chance to win the east, especially in McGrady goes Balastic

magic are nice although they lack low post force. Which is why mo probably looked good to them.

Miami at 12-1 may not be a bad bet in a weak Eastern Conference, especially if they get Smith.

The heading is not to make the finals, it's to WIN the finals. Magic @ 5-1 ???

If I gambled, I'd take the Spurs at 8-1.

Anyone notice the Nets, Mavs, & Rocks are teams 11 thru 13 (from the bottom)? This list spells Lottery if it turns true.

The Clippers are 400-1, that seems generous to me.

The Magic seem very high. I guess the McGrady/Hill signings carry a lot of weight in gambling circles. If it were the odds of getting to the Finals, then I might could see having them that high, but winning the championship? I don't think so.

I considered that, but are they really the top team in the East right now? I seriously don't see it, even if I consider McGrady's awesome play. I would not be surprised with a good record, but I expect them to fold in the first round. Second at most.

Don't you have to make the Finals to win it? If your chances of making the Finals are greater, aren't your chances of winning the Finals also greater? I don't think they're saying "assume the Clippers make the Finals, here are their odds of winning it". At least I don't think they are.
