Well at the time i posted he only had 4 .. but yeah 7 steals is huge, even if most are the result of bad passes. He shows he has the next level athletisicm to be able to grab those.

If you take out the Rockets' rookies, those 2 and probably DJ Kennedy are the best players on the team. Kennedy's stat line always looks like he does everything. He can score, pass, rebound, etc. Goudelock and Rice are gunners - especially Goudelock. That dude wakes up shooting.

not a very good game for Goudelock, that's some serious Rudy Gay impersonation there with all those chucker.

Rice was very quiet in the second half.

I watched the later half, once the Vipers put Jones / White out there together the game ended. they basically destroyed Tulsa on both ends of the court. there only means of scoring ended up being long jumpers.

White was actually extremely efficient (more than Jones), and nearly had a crazy awesome play with Glen Rice late in the game tossing what look like a reverse ally oops. too bad Glen got fouled.

Jones played extremely well though, double double and those 7 steal was LOL.

It's interesting that White / Jones brings the ball upcourt and starts plays a lot.

I still maintain that if Royce White can keep his head on he should at least be a useful role player, but the former part seems like a HUUUUGE if.

Wow, any highlights for the game? I just looked at the box score, and its ridiculous! How do the 66er's rate in terms of competition?

Jones and White played well off of each other. Several nifty passes were thrown between the 2. Probably Royce's best game. With another NBA level player on the floor, he didn't force too much and kind of played a more natural looking and under control game. They both looked really good. Damn you Royce for not being focused on basketball. I don't care what anybody says, an in shape and dedicated Royce White would take our fast break to another level with Harden, Lin and Parsons.

John Lucas was on the Comcast channel late last week and said the same thing about Royce being an extremely unique and special talent. Said the Rockets need another player who can create for others in order to take that next step and that they would be on another level if he had been able to contribute. High praise and I trust his ability as a talent evaluator. Too bad Royce may never get out of his own way and stop playing the victim.

Well, Royce played almost 26 minutes and put up 19 pts, 8 rebs and 6 asts.

    Not too shabby.

Maybe he should make this his weekly routine! ;)
