Thank you. I fixed THAT for you.

It is not the "fixed" as in "still" or "latched" version. ;)

People are trying to get too fancy here... It's hard to put up a case against Nirvana - Smells like Teen Spirit.

    Would? - Alice in Chains.

It meets all the criteria when not all of their songs do (since they were really sludge metal). Slower, quite parts, loud, rocking chorus, good musicianship, and it is about the former lead singer of Mother Love Bone (Pearl Jam) OD'ing. Perfect for the time.

Oh yeah - they also have a god Unplugged version...very 90's of them.

    Good one.

What I would give to go back to the early 90's and catch some of these bands live when they were first touring. Would have been epic.

This is the song that (for me) reps the grunge years -- first song I think of anyway.

I don't think of Pearl Jam as a "grunge" band but whenever I think of grunge I think of this song. Doesn't make sense.

Yeah, we're trying to get to fancy due to our tastes of Grunge music. What a dumbass post.

Holy crap but I love that song. Not sure the Melvins can fit in any category, but Houdini is a phenomenal album. So is Stoner Witch by them.

Yeah, that's it. LOL, I didn't remember it being this mellow and boring. I was browsing through Nirvana, Mudhoney, and Soundgarden videos for it.

This might be one of the most saddest moments of grunge along with Nirvana's unplugged performance. It seemed like Layne knew his life was almost over just like Cobain did on Nirvanas unplugged show.
