Imagine the value of having a legit shot blocker like Josh Smith on the team.

Patrick Beverely = Better than Mario Chalmers. Imagine if the Heat actually noticed his talent when they had him.

Watched it more than a few times that is unbelievable air. A PG should not be able to do that. AB may never get out of the bench.

Patrick Beverley's game somewhat resembles Norris Cole's. On a championship team like the Heat Beverley could provide awesome hustle energy off of the bench but he's still not a starting caliber PG even alongside Wade & Lebron.

That said, I'm so pissed my PC blew its load in the 4th quarter, that play he made was absolutely filthy one of the season's highlights for sure.

Nice elbow by TP on Beverley and Beverley gets called for the foul.

It's funny no one mentioned Parsons. He made the TO in the first place, and came back and made the huge 3 pointer.

Beverley really helps this team by providing something that other players tend to lack, which is being excited just to play in the NBA. Because he had to play in Russia and is only getting his chance at 24, Beverley plays like he's not going to blow this chance.

The guy just flat out hustles. That may have been a 1% chance block, but Beverley made it because he hustled and he challenged the shot.

Such a bold move by McHale to bring in Bev. Could have back fired but it didn't and we won.

Yeah, on key moments Parsons can try to do too much with his handles. I bet working on it is a top priority for this summer, he's a TO waiting to happen if he's not dribbling in a straight line.

Parsons needs to follow a general rule of thumb - only straight-line drives to the basket when my defender is slacking.

Otherwise he basically gifts the opposition the ball.

I was wondering about that myself, DD. It's not like the guy doesn't have his own business, a wife and kids, and this site to manage. Heck, I don't sleep all that much myself, but most people aren't like that. Clutch is pretty amazing. Of course, a win like this would keep you going on adrenaline for a long time. I've already watched the game again. The DVR is such an excellent invention! (when you can get the game. the poor fans in Houston. what an outrage!)
