i remember reading a post several weeks back that posited the question of whether francis or kobe was the better player and the votes were split. i was wondering if those who voted for francis feel foolish and embarrased now? if yes then would you also offer an apology along the lines of saying you were wrong about yao ming as a bust? if you still like francis because of team bias than thats fine too. just not objective in my opinion.

is francis a poor mans marbury? is macgrady to kobe what drexler was to mj? just some questions that were kicking upstairs.

    cheers.

You posted several weeks back? Yet it says its your first post? Obviously, you're a Kobe fan. Mcgrady/drexler to Kobe/MJ would be made by a r****ded person. Although, they would be likely to notice that Kobe plays with Shaq.

Anod noone feels embarassed. this is a Rockets board. People sometimes root for their own players.

And, Francis is better than Marbury, imo.

Also, I think this thread should be deleted and you should be banned; you're a fat troll posting on an opposing team's board at 2 a.m. because you're a loser. You live your moments through Kobe Bryant, how pathetic. I'm guessing you're a) a Laker fan or b) a loser that roots for whoever is on top in any sport? Actually, I'll pick c. A loser with no social life who feels the need to say " kobe better than steve" as if it makes you smarter.

Go get laid and come back with a better disposition.

this was my first post but i have read the boards for a while. that was completely unneccessary to insult someone for stating their opinions. i didnt attack you for stating your preference for rockets players. please extend the same courtesy. thank you.

by the way. i think yao and to a lesser degree morris are great players so yes i am a rockets fan. i just dont like to insult people for trivial things.

Bryant and Francis don't even play the same position so the comparison is flawed.

A Marbury/Francis comparision IMO is more fair (very similar types of PGs) and I think it's VERY close with Marbury being the better passer and Francis being a better scorer. (although marbury avg's more PPG, I'm just talking about pure ability) Marbury is the one having the better season though.

Kobe choked 3 times against rox this season in first 2 games. That should be 4 in 3 games if you would have a fair refed 3rd game.

Ya, you can compare Kobe with MJ:)
    :)

No, both of them, Kobe & McGrady, are to Jordan what Drexler was to Jordan.

    Actually,

McGrady = George Gervin but more athletic

Kobe = Dominique Wilkins with a better floor game and a willingness to play defense

The difference between MJ and Kobe:

MJ = post player (MJ of Bull, not MJ of wizards)
    Kobe = jump shooter
